Legal, Compliance and Public Policy Intern

【Responsibilities】

•Conduct legal research and daily dynamic tracking of laws, regulations and public policies;

•Provide assistance in drafting legal memorandum and summaries;

•Provide assistance in preparing legal documents;

•Assist with Chinese/English translation of legal documents;

•Assist with department administrative matters (such as preparation of travel agenda, conference, workshops and relevant documentation);

•Provide word-processing and secretarial support; 

•Provide assistance in other ad hoc assignments.

【Requirements】

•A Bachelor or Master of Law degree from a reputable law school in China or abroad;

•Fluent in written and oral English and Chinese;

•Proficient in using Microsoft Office software (e.g. word, excel, PowerPoint);

•Passed the Chinese bar exam;

•Committed and available to work for at least 3 months (4 days a week);

•Strong research and analytical abilities;

•Team player, high degree of self-motivation, stress resistant and willingness to learn; 

•Experience with law firms, multinational corporations is a plus.
