BRC新展预告 | 安全的边缘

BRC SPACE新展《安全的边缘》将于2022年4月17日下午4点开幕，此次展览分别呈现了乌克兰籍艺术家Danyil Pinko、Maryna Makarenko、Mariana Savchenko（玛骊雅蒳 ）、Nataliia Vainilovych、Valeriy Simonchuk与中国艺术家阎洲的作品，展期将持续到2022年6月16日。

BRC SPACE's new exhibition Frontiers of Safety will open at 4pm on April 17th, 2022, The exhibition presents Ukrainian artists Danyil Pinko, Maryna Makarenko, Mariana Savchenko, Nataliia Vainilovych and Valeriy Simonchuk and Chinese artist Yan Zhou's works, which runs until June 16, 2022.

 DANYIL PINKO 

22岁。来自波尔塔瓦的多学科艺术家，在基辅学习动画。在乌克兰二战历史国家博物馆担任动画家。研究表演、行为艺术和原始声乐练习。

22 years old. Multidisciplinary artist from Poltava, studying animation in Kyiv. Working as a cartoonist at the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War. Doing research in performance art and authentic vocal practices.

 MARYNA MAKARENKO 

1990年生于乌克兰，目前在柏林。就读于基辅国立大学新闻学院，柏林艺术大学视觉传达学士和艺术与媒体专业,同时也是多伦多OCAD 大学（安大略艺术与设计学院）综合媒体项目的客座学生。

Born in 1990 in Ukraine, she is currently based in Berlin. She studied at the Kyiv State University School of Journalism, bachelor of Visual Communication and Arts and Media at the University of the Arts Berlin, and was a guest student in the Integrated Media Program at OCAD University (Ontario College of Art and Design) in Toronto.

 MARIANA SAVCHENKO   玛骊雅蒳

玛骊雅蒳是来自基辅，乌克兰汉学家，音乐人，制作人，声音艺术家和行为艺术表演者。自幼受古典音乐和歌剧培训，玛骊雅蒳的音乐实践逐渐涉及爵士乐，音乐剧，自由即兴，世界音乐，实验，电子和电声音乐。

从2008年到2019年，玛骊雅蒳生活在北京，从事高等教育、表演艺术教育、独立艺术等工作（包括担任音乐剧音乐导演和艺术总监，歌手，歌曲作者，合唱团负责人，编曲和声音艺术家）。她的表演和作品曾出现在中央电视台，北京电视台，凤凰卫视，天津国际爵士音乐节，乌镇国际戏剧节和北京独立音乐和艺术舞台。

目前，玛骊雅蒳定居于基辅。她的艺术实践主要集中在电声音乐，声音艺术和行为艺术上。她的创作重点为研究性和社会影响。

Mariana Savchenko is a sinologist, musician, producer, sound and performance artist from Kyiv, Ukraine. Initially trained in classical music and opera, Mariana’s musical practice also involves jazz, musical theatre, free improvisation, world music, experimental, electronic, and electroacoustic music.

From 2008 to 2019, Mariana lived in Beijing, working in academia and performing arts education, and as an independent artist (musical theatre music and artistic director, vocalist, songwriter, choral conductor, arranger, and sound artist). Her performances and works have been featured at CCTV, BTV, Phoenix TV, Tianjin International Jazz Festival, Wuzhen Theatre Festival, and Beijing’s independent music and art scene.

Mariana currently resides in Kyiv. Her artistic practice focuses mainly on electroacoustic music, sound art, and performance art. Her major concern is the research nature and social impact of her art projects. 

 NATALIIA VAINILOVYCH 

乌克兰艺术家、行为艺术表演者。在参与式剧院（一人一故事剧场、被压迫的剧院、纪录\后纪录戏剧），纪录照片领域工作。她的创作关注点在人类故事以及人们如何以和平的方式进行对话（如果可能的话）。

Ukrainian artist, performer. Works in a field of participatory theater (Playback Theatre, Theatre of the Oppressed, Documentary\PostDocumentary Theatre), documentary photo. In her focus — human stories and how people can make dialogue in a peaceful way (when it is possible).

 VALERIY SIMONCHUK 

Valeriy Simonchuk 是来自乌克兰基辅的艺术家，他的作品包括表演、摄影、电影和绘画等媒体。然而，目前他主要记录乌克兰的战争和种族灭绝。

Valeriy Simonchuk is an artist from Kyiv, who has worked with such media as performance, photography, film and drawing. However, at the moment he is mainly documenting the war and genocide in Ukraine.

 YAN ZHOU   阎洲 

1986年生于西安, 目前工作生活于北京。他通过摄影、录像、写作等创作语言与今日文化生态及实践者处境展开观察和对话。他面向当下社会环境的创作更深一层的源自其对历史场所、文物、人物所构成的文化驱动方式、情境的察访与想象。

他曾在OCAT西安馆举办个人项目“阎洲：从何开始？”，西安，2017。近期的展览包括：“阎洲：连夜，打制一些箭镞出来”，墨方空间，北京，2019；“想象·主流价值”，中间美术馆，北京，2018；“城市地理：一场关于西安历史的想象”OCAT西安馆，西安，2018；“中国新影像：2010年以来的新态度”安仁华侨城创意园，安仁，2018

Yan Zhou, B. 1986 in Xi'an. Currently works and lives in Beijing. Yan Zhou has held his personal projects Where to Begin? : Yan Zhou in OCAT Xi'an, Xi'an, 2017. Other recent exhibitions include: Mocube Yan Zhou: Coping mechanism, Beijing, 2019; Beijing Inside-Out Art Museum The Lonely Spirit, Beijing, 2018; OCAT Xi'an Mapping the City: A Vision of History and Xi’an, Xi'an, 2018; OCAT Anren New Video in China: New Attitude Since 2010, Anren, 2018.
