With the booming development of artificial intelligence, computer vision, sensors and other technologies and industries, the perception content of new human-machine interaction is dug more in-depth through increasingly diversified perception channels, leading the trend of intelligent, three-dimensional and diversified interaction technology.
随着人工智能、计算机视觉、传感器等技术和产业的蓬勃发展,新型人机交互的机器感知内容日渐深入、感知通道日渐丰富,交互技术呈现智能化、立体化和多元化的趋势。
The Bay Area TEA Talk of new sensing research on human-machine interface symposium is held by the Bay Area International Exchange Service Center and organized by the Bao’an Foreign Language Association and Hardware Massive.
With the aim of inspiring more enterprises that are interested in this technological field, promoting project outcomes and opening up business opportunities, the symposium is successfully conducted on 11 August at the Bay Area International Exchange Service Center.
为让更多对这一领域感兴趣的企业产生创意、促进项目产出,并链接商业机会,由湾区国际交流服务中心主办、宝安外语协会和Hardware Massive承办的湾区茶话会-人机界面新型传感研究座谈交流会,于8月11日在湾区国际交流服务中心顺利举办。
Doctoral Student Cedric Honnet, from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Media Lab, gives a keynote speech at the Bay Area TEA Talk, attracting many domestic and international experts and entrepreneurs of the AI, VR/AR and networking fields to come and participate in.
本期湾区茶话会由来自麻省理工学院媒体实验室的博士生Cedric Honnet先生做主题演讲,吸引众多来自AI、VR/AR、网络等领域的国内外专家和企业家的参与。
Dr. Cedric has been exploring the connections between physical computing, interactivity and art. During the symposium, three sensing systems are introduced to the audience.
Cedric一直在探索物理计算、互动性和艺术之间的联系。座谈交流会上,Cedric向大家介绍了3 个传感系统:
- HIVE Tracker: it is a tiny, low-cost and scalable device for sub-millimeter 3D localization.
- HIVE Tracker: 一种微小、低成本和可扩展的设备,用于亚毫米级的3D定位
- PolySense: it can be used to enhance the electronic functionality of textiles through in situ polymerization.
- PolySense: 使用原位聚合增强纺织品的电功能
- MetaSense: it can help integrate sensing capabilities into mechanical metamaterials.
- MetaSense:将感应能力集成到机械超材料中
Meanwhile, Cedric describes an ongoing project which the above ideas are embodied in.
同时,Cedric还介绍了一个正在进行的项目,该项目融合了上述观点。
Dr. Cedric also presents his series of works based on the sensing system described above, and the audience are very engaged and raise a number of questions to discuss.

In addition to Cedric’s keynote speech, several other experts and engineers present their works. For instance, Noah, an expert in the field of VR, shows his new creation, a helmet device with glasses, and Slava from Belarus presents his touchpad keyboard.
除了Cedric的主题演讲,还有数位专家、工程师也带来了他们的作品。VR领域专家Noah展示了他的新作-一款眼镜和头盔装置,来自白俄罗斯的Slava展示了他的键盘与触摸一体板。
Free beverages and snacks are also provided on site, so that participants could enjoy a relaxing and pleasant communication.
现场还提供免费的饮料以及小点心,让各位参加人员有一个轻松愉快的交流氛围。
The symposium lasts for three hours, with experts, scholars and entrepreneurs exchanging the latest technological advances, sharing experiences, learning from each other and exploring the future of science and technology together.
交流会进行了三小时,各位专家、学者、企业家热烈交流最新的技术进展、分享经验、互相学习,一起探索科技未来。
