Huanggang Customs officials recently caught a female passenger entering Shenzhen through Futian Port and seized 16 live baby lizards hidden in a space between her breasts and underwear.The unnamed female passenger was spotted by customs officers who found her suspicious because she walked with an unusual posture and her clothes were unexpectedly bloated, as she was about to enter the city through the entry channel of the Futian Port.Customs officers intercepted her and took her to the inspection desk for further questioning. They immediately discovered 5 small white bags hidden on her breasts, below her underwear.The officers said the bags contained 16 live hatchlings which were then sent to the professional institution for identification. Results from the institution showed that the lizards were identified as Malayan sail-finned lizards (hatchlings).China customs today reported that the hatchlings have been handed over to the relevant departments for processing.
