Foreigners visiting China should take note! NIA has dealt with 14,000 foreigners who arrived, resided, or worked in China illegally since this summer, deporting 5,100 of them.
Actually, China has been tightening control over foreigners illegally entering the country since the new admission-Exit Administration Law was issued, particularly for cases of unauthorised admission, unauthorised employment, unauthorised marriage, and unauthorised selling of visa documents.If you are one of the foreign friends in China, whether it is to work or live, remember to follow these rules ~When entering China, you must hold a valid visa and passport through the designated ports.Don’t exceed the stay period specified in the visa and residence permit, and remember to apply for an extension before your visa and permit expires.You must obtain a work visa and residence permit in accordance with regulations before you work in China. Don’t work beyond the scope of the work permit. Foreign students in China, cannot work beyond the prescribed scope or time limit either.If you violate these rules, you will be deported by the immigration authorities and will not be able to enter China for five years.Source: National Immigration Administration
