▲The ceremony awarding "top-notch rare foreign talents"
The Municipal Science and Technology Bureau of Beihai City in Guangxi Province held a ceremony on October 27th, celebrating its first "Top-notch Rare Foreign Talents" award offered to two foreign nationals.The two foreign nationals from Thailand and Cameroon received the award certification during the ceremony.Mbuwel Eugene (known as Wang Feifei in Chinese) from Cameroon is an English Literature lecturer at the Beihai Vocational College, while Sangwarn Sawatphon (known as Shang Wanquan in Chinese) is an Aquatic Feed Technology expert and vice president of the Befeng (Beihai) Aquatic Feed Co., Ltd.They both shared their work experience in Beihai during the ceremony, expressing that they like China and especially Beihai. They have experienced the rapid development of Beihai during their stay in the city and said it has left a deep impression on them.Speaking of the award certification, they said that they believe that their work and life in the city have been properly evaluated and recognized, which is a great motivation for them.The two vowed their determination to work harder and contribute to the economic and social development of Beihai with their professional knowledge.
Beihai is the first city in Guangxi to offer such award certificates.The scheme was launched in August of this year and foreign nationals who obtain the award can enjoy policy support and a service guarantee in the city, such as faster document processing, medical treatment, preferential enrollment for children, priority recommendation and application for technology projects, and relevant municipal talent plans.The award is set to be conducive to attracting more top-notch talents from within China and foreign countries to settle in Beihai.Reference: Beihai Broadcasting System
