A court in Hohhot, the capital city of northern China's Inner Mongolia, issued a reward notice offering 2,000 yuan for information regarding the whereabouts of a woman who was involved in a 10,028 yuan dispute case. However netizens were quickly captured by her beauty and even nicknamed her "Hot Scoundrel."The 19 years old woman, surnamed Cao, was involved in a house lease contract dispute with a person surnamed Yang. In October this year, Yang took her to court after they failed to reach an agreement.The court ruled against her favor and she was ordered to pay Yang a total of 10,028 yuan before November 27.
She was slapped with a consumption restriction order after failing to pay the 10,028 yuan in time. The order meant that she could not travel using high speed trains, go on vacation, staying in five-star hotels, etc. However, she shared photos of her skiing in Daqingshan on December 6th.Instead of the information regarding her whereabouts, the reward notice was flooded with many comments such as "Xiaona, if you can see this comment just contact me, I will pay the 10,028 yuan for you!"
Others left comments complimenting her on her beauty and many called her a "Hot Scoundrel."It didn't end there, her Douyin account's number of followers quickly jumped from 4,081 to more than 70,000 soon after the reward notice was published online.On December 9, the court issued another notice announcing that Cao had paid all the funds on December 8, 2023, and the case has been closed.
