Staff at a police station branch of Baoshan PSB in Shanghai received a report from a woman named Yue, claiming that her boyfriend was engaging in improper behavior with a woman in a foot massage parlor. However, when the police organized a team and rushed to the establishment, they found that the massage parlor was closed and no one was inside, also there was a sign at the front door that said the business is being transfered to another owner. When they called Yue's boyfriend and asked his whereabouts, Mr. Song said he was eating dinner with his colleagues near the massage parlor and did not check his phone when his girlfriend called him. After the police told her that the shop she reported is closed down and that her boyfriend is eating dinner with his colleagues, she admitted that she had made up the allegations.
Yue said that she called her boyfriend many times to ask how the dinner was going, but he did not pick up so she got distressed and had a few drinks alone at home. When she got drunk, she checked her boyfriend's location using an app and found that he was near a foot massage parlor. She suspected that her boyfriend was receiving illegal services at the establishment and called the police to report him.Yue was then detained by Baoshan police for fabricating facts and disrupting public order.Police reminder: The 110 emergency hotline is an important channel for the PSB to maintain public security, provide social services, and ensure the safety of people's lives and property. Any acts of abusing the line will be punished in accordance with the law.
