大漆和山里的生活实践，让雷禺学会主动地去观察和适应周遭的发生。创作中她通过加强绘画语言，减弱大漆的工艺感，寻求一种漆语和图式的平衡态。近几年，尖锐有力的自然形态经常出现在她的创作中，“荆棘”对外生成防御同时也带有进攻性，对内形成保护也可能转而变成伤害。表层的危险易辨别，但看似惯常又“无害”的杀伤力可能是致命的。在画面里，雷禺通过软化“刺状物”的进攻性和伤害感，摸索一个自我与外界相对独立又包容的相处模式。

The practice of lacquer and life in the mountains has taught Lei Yu to actively observe and adapt to the happenings around her. In her work she seeks a balance between lacquer language and pictorial style by strengthening the language of painting and diminishing the craftiness of lacquer. In recent years, sharp and powerful natural forms have often appeared in her works, with 'thorns' generating external defense but also offensive, and forming internal protection that can also turn into harm. The apparent danger is easily recognizable, but the seemingly usual and 'harmless' legality can be deadly. In the image, Lei Yu softens the aggressiveness and sense of harm of the "thorny objects" to explore a relatively independent and tolerant mode of living between the self and the outside world.

关于艺术家问答：

1-日常生活状态和节奏规律吗？每天画画和创作的时间分别是多少？

生活状态非常规律且简单，一般情况下每天差不多在创作上花7小时左右，用大漆创作比较慢，有时候一上午就只能画几根线条。

2-经常用几款社交软件？平时的现实交流跟谁比较频繁？网络网友交流多吗？

常用的软件就是微信，微博，instagram 。现实中和山里的几个小伙伴交流多（他们也是独立做创作，媒介不同），网络交流不多。

3-打发时间的方法是？游戏、电影、看书、刷视频？

打发时间进山走走，喝茶，看电影，打篮球。

4-生活中碰到最焦虑的是什么？现阶段在创作中，最难的是什么？

最焦虑的是收入困难的时候。现阶段创作上最难的是需要为下一个阶段的创作再找一个切入点，深入创作。

Hunsand Space (Beijing) was established in Caochangdi Art District in 2014, relocated to the 798 Art Zone in 2018. At the end of 2021, Hunsand Center for Contemporary Art (Shijiazhuang) was opened in Shijiazhuang. As a professional gallery, Hunsand Space (Beijing) keeps vigilance in presenting art exhibitions with conventional way in white cubes, aiming to take the semantics and syntax from the language of contemporary art as a point of departure and expand them into a broader field. Through its vigorous programs of exhibitions and projects, Hunsand Space (Beijing) hopes to stimulate the neglected aspects in contemporary culture and brings the values of contemporary art into our lives.
