Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi held full, in-depth discussion with his Indian counterpart S. Jaishankar on the situation in the border areas as well as bilateral ties here on Thursday.

9月10日，中国国务委员兼外交部长王毅同印度外交部长苏杰生就边境局势和双边关系进行了全面、深入的讨论。

The two senior diplomats agreed that border tension is not in the interest of both sides and border forces from China and India should maintain communication, disengage contact as soon as possible and maintain a necessary distance.

双方一致认为，边境地区当前形势不符合双方利益，两国边防部队应该继续对话，尽快脱离接触，保持必要距离。

The two sides reached a five-point consensus regarding the current situation after the discussion.

经过讨论，双方就当前形势达成五点共识。

The China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), the first major international economic and trade event held both online and offline by China since the COVID-19 outbreak, closed on Wednesday.

中国国际服务贸易交易会于9日落下帷幕，本届服贸会是新冠肺炎疫情发生以来，我国举办的首场线上线下相结合的重大国际经贸活动。

The fair highlighted new forms and models of business such as digital trade, 5G communications, industrial internet, smart office and blockchain innovation, said Xian Guoyi, an official with the Ministry of Commerce.

商务部官员冼国义介绍，本届服贸会突出展示了数字贸易、5G通讯、工业互联网、智慧办公、区块链创新等新业态新模式。

Provincial regions, central enterprises and financial enterprises formed trading groups and signed 240 agreements during the event, Xian said.

冼国义表示，各省区市、大型中央企业和金融企业组建了交易团，与会洽谈采购，共签订协定协议类成果240项。

The fair's official website received 7.2 million views, and the official app received 8.05 million views, said Yan Ligang, head of the Beijing Municipal Commerce Bureau.

北京市商务局局长阎利刚说，2020年服贸会官方网站浏览量720万，官方App浏览量805万。

According to Yan, a total of 5,372 enterprises from home and abroad set up online exhibition booths, including 2,037 three-dimensional booths.

The CIFTIS, themed "Global Services, Shared Prosperity," opened on Sept. 4. The six-day event included the Global Trade in Services Summit, four summit forums, and more than 100 other industry seminars and forums.

China will roll out tutoring courses for young couples planning to tie the knot, according to a guideline released on Tuesday.

根据9月8日发布的一份指导意见，我国将为准新人们推出婚前辅导课程。

This is part of a broader effort by central authorities to enhance "marital happiness" and help build a marital relationship that is "equal, harmonious and civilized", according to the guideline, released by the Ministry of Civil Affairs and All-China Women's Federation.

指导意见由民政部和全国妇联联合印发，此举是中央政府为提升群众“婚姻幸福值”、帮助建立“平等、和睦、文明”的婚姻家庭关系而推出的系列举措的一部分。

The guideline said the premarital tutoring is geared toward preventing family disputes and helping prepare couples for married life.

意见指出，婚前辅导旨在减少婚姻家庭纠纷、帮助当事人做好进入婚姻状态的准备。

Authorities are asked to hold ceremonies to issue marriage certificates and for couples taking vows, as part of an effort to educate newlyweds about their responsibilities, the document said.

意见要求，有关部门应将颁证仪式、宣读结婚誓言引入结婚登记流程，让当事人感悟婚姻中的责任担当。

They shall also explore effective means to intervene in faltering relationships and provide support during the "cooling-off period" before a divorce is formally granted, it said.
