Li Keqiang passes away

Li Keqiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the 17th, 18th and 19th Communist Party of China central committees and former premier, passed away on Friday in Shanghai.
中国共产党第十七届、十八届、十九届中央政治局常委，国务院原总理李克强同志于27日在上海逝世。
Li recently had a rest in Shanghai. On Oct. 26, Li had a sudden heart attack and passed away at 00:10 on Oct. 27 after all rescue measures failed. He died at the age of 68.
李克强同志近日在上海休息，2023年10月26日因突发心脏病，经全力抢救无效，于10月27日0时10分在上海逝世，享年68岁。

China on Thursday launched the Shenzhou-17 manned spaceship, and the three astronauts aboard will be sent to stay in orbit for about six months on a space station mission.
神舟十七号载人飞船于10月26日成功发射，将3名航天员送入预定轨道，执行为期六个月的飞行任务。
The spaceship, atop a Long March-2F carrier rocket, blasted off at 11:14 a.m. Thursday (Beijing Time) from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China, according to the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA).
据中国载人航天工程办公室消息，26日11时14分，搭载神舟十七号载人飞船的长征二号F遥十七运载火箭在酒泉卫星发射中心点火发射。
About 10 minutes after the launch, the Shenzhou-17 spaceship separated from the rocket and entered its designated orbit. The crew members, consisting of Tang Hongbo, Tang Shengjie and Jiang Xinlin, are in good shape and the launch is a complete success, the CMSA said.

A mass shooting suspect in Lewiston, Maine, who reportedly killed more than 20 people and wounded up to 60 was still at large late Wednesday.
当地时间25日晚，美国缅因州刘易斯顿发生大规模枪击事件，造成至少20人死亡，60人受伤。枪手目前仍然在逃。
Lewiston police said in an earlier Facebook post that they were dealing with an active shooter incident at Schemengees Bar and Grille, and Sparetime Recreation, a bowling alley about 4 miles (6.4 kilometers) away.
