【解题分析】

       本篇作文为议论文，考查的话题与大学生的生活息息相关，题目要求简单而又明确，其中核心词是“challenges”即“困难，挑战”。建议采用经典的三段论，首段直接点出主题即大学生毕业后创业会面临困难，开头部分要简明；第二段是论述重点，分点阐述具体的挑战内容，分析必须有深度、有条理，不必求多，两到三点即可；第三段从自身角度阐述该如何对待这种状况，注意不要重复第二段的内容，应在更高的层面上升华主题，表达积极向上、正面努力的观点。考生在动笔之前，可以拟一个大的提纲，根据提纲中关键词阐述自己的观点。例如，大学生毕业后创业压力大可以从经验不足（lack of experience）、资金匮乏（absence of financial basis）、人脉圈窄（limited human resources）这几个角度展开。

        该作文类型属于应用文，相似体裁曾在2016 年6 月四级作文中出现过，题目为“感谢信”，出题频率不高。考生应当注意的是，此次考查出售个人物品广告，属于应用文中告示范畴，需要有标题。虽然不是“三段式”提纲作文，考生按照题目要求也可以将正文分为三段。第一段阐明所售笔记本电脑品牌、配置和优点；第二段介绍所售电脑性能、外观和价格；第三段交代出售原因、交货时间、地点及卖家联系方式。

The Challenges of Starting a Career after Graduation

        Nowadays there is a growing concern over starting a career after graduation for the newly graduates. Facing the rising employment pressure, a lot of college graduates choose to start a career instead of looking for a regular job in a company. However, it is widely acknowledged that starting a career will inevitably bring about numerous challenges which can be listed as follows:

        First of all, it’s challenging to transfer theoretical knowledge into practical use. Students upon graduation may be overwhelmed by the reality that their majors are not so corresponding to the real work. Besides, as freshmen who have just entered into the society, it is obvious that college graduates lack related experience, which will increase the rate of failure they may encounter during starting a career. In addition, the high living expenses and the costs of starting a career after graduation is another great challenge that can’t be overlooked, so the collection of money is another problem they should solve urgently.

        But every coin has two sides. Although starting a career after graduation has so many challenges to be solved, college graduates still need to take a positive attitude toward it. The long life path is still at its beginning and the great challenges always come along with great opportunities.

Computer for Sale

        As I am about to graduate and leave the campus, I am going to sell my personal laptop at a low price. At the top of the list, it is a MacBook Air that I bought in February, 2017. It is not big, but very functional. It has a five-core CPU, an independent display card of 4G, a hard disk of 500G and a screen of 15.6 inches. With its CPU and inner memory satisfying, you can write papers, watch videos or listen to music and so on.

        The laptop is in a perfect working state. It does not have a single scratch on its exterior, for it has been in use for no more than four months. The original price was over $1,000, and now you need only to pay $800, which is a great deal at this price.

        The laptop has served as my faithful aid and helped me finish my assignments and my thesis.

        There has appeared no fault in the process. I owe so much to it. But as my workplace has already offered me a more advanced working laptop, I find there is no necessity for me to have two. The computer is collectable on campus from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p. m. on weekdays. Anyone interested can contact me via email, and my mailbox is ******@qq.com.

四级写作中，无论是命题作文、漫画作文，还是图表作文、材料作文，一般有以下五个基本步骤：审题、立意、列提纲、行文和检查。

1.审题（2分钟）

审读题目内容，弄清题目要求。如果把写作比喻成旅游，那审题第一步就要了解目的地；没弄清方向就匆忙出发（下笔），往往“欲速则不达”。

2. 立意（1分钟）

打开思路，调动以前的知识储备，思考与题目相关的信息——读过的文章、听过的故事、看过的新闻、名言警句等。

3. 列提纲（2分钟）

根据题目要求，联系知识储备，思考设计出文章框架结构。提纲就是出行的GPS（Global Positioning System），为你设计出最佳路线，省时省油省心，一路畅通。

4. 行文（24分钟）

行文就是整个写作过程。开头直奔主题，亮出观点；主题句紧扣主题（支持、反对或中立）；细节句衔接紧凑，支持有力；结尾段重申观点，简洁清晰。

5. 检查（1分钟）

画龙要点睛，写作需检查。最后的检查还是必要的。有无拼写错误（themself / goverment）、主谓是否一致（He teach us...）、时态是否失态（we can built...）等等。及时更正，提升作文档次。
