真相放大镜 | 中国科技在抗击疫情中的支撑作用

To tackle the pandemic, we need both determined efforts and handy tools. In the time of crisis, Chinese technology truly showcased the capabilities in battling against the novel coronavirus.
应对全球新冠大流行,我们既需要坚定的努力,又需要便捷的工具。在紧要关头,中国的科技成果真正经受了考验,展示了与新型冠状病毒作斗争的能力。 

Big Data大数据


During the SARS outbreak in 2003, Chinese health authorities had to check 175 hospitals in Beijing one by one, to locate the admitted patients. The whole process took about a month. 
在2003年的SARS爆发期间,当时卫生部门不得不逐一检查北京的175家医院,以找到收治的患者。整个过程耗时约一个月。

17 years later, shortly after the outbreak of COVID-19, nationwide data of possibly infected areas and patients can be updated on a daily basis.
17年后,这次新冠疫情爆发后不久,中国就做到了疑似感染地区、感染患者全国数据的每日更新。

Local governments and tech companies developed applications to map the epidemic, which can be accessed any time using mobile phones.
各级地方政府与科技公司联手推出疫情地图相关APP,准确定位感染区域,所有人都可以随时使用手机进行查看。

China’s state council also introduced a “Health QR Code” to track the movement of citizens. All thanks to big data technology, epidemic monitoring and treatment have never been easier before.
中国国务院还推出了“健康码”二维码系统,用来跟踪疫情发展轨迹。大数据技术的发展,使得流行病监测治疗效率大为提升。 


5G


China’s infrastructure building on 5G also contributed to this. As of late March, about 198,000 5G base stations had been built across China, covering over 50 million users. This largely helped frontline medics to conduct remote diagnosis and even treatment via 5G networks. 
中国5G的基础设施建设也为抗疫胜利做出了贡献。截至3月下旬,中国已建成了约198,000个5G基站,覆盖了超过5000万用户。这在很大程度上帮助了一线医疗人员,通过5G网络进行远程问诊甚至远程治疗。 

The enhanced connection speed helps them to treat patients in remote areas and even abroad. 5G networks were also installed in emergency hospitals in Wuhan - where patients can ask for immediate help,  and doctors and experts from other cities can respond in time.
连接速度的提高,保证了他们为偏远地区,甚至国外的患者提供及时治疗。武汉的方舱医院也安装了5G网络,使得病人可以及时寻求帮助,来自其他城市的医生和专家也可及时响应。

AI人工智能


The widely used AI technology cannot be overlooked.  AI-based CT scans are being used to improve efficiency while supercomputing is aiding virus strain analysis.
本次抗疫过程中AI的使用同样不可小觑。在超级计算机进行病毒株分析的时候,基于AI技术的CT扫描可以大大提高它的效率。

In the post-pandemic era, AI-based temperature monitoring equipment,  as well as unmanned disinfection facilities,  emerged as must-haves for public places and individuals.
在疫情大流行之后,AI技术支持的的温度监控设备以及无人消毒设施,逐渐成为公共场所和个人的必备品。

With the help of AI and advanced computing to sequence the coronavirus, China has made prominent progress in the production of potential vaccines.
借助AI和高级计算对冠状病毒进行测序,中国在未来疫苗研发生产方面取得了显着进步。 

It also made its five-approach vaccine development open to the world for better international cooperation.
围绕着五条主要路线开展了疫苗研发,并及时向世界分享成果,以促进更好的抗疫国际合作。

China has provided medical masks, protective clothing and testing kits to more than 140 countries and international organizations, and dispatched medical expert teams to over 10 countries.
目前中国已经向超过140多个国家和国际组织提供了医用口罩,防护服和检测试剂盒,并向10多个国家派遣了医学专家团队。

And last but not least, China developed technologies have already helped people around the world to battle the coronavirus.
最重要的是,中国研发的技术成果,已经在帮助世界各地的人们抗击冠状病毒。 

China’s self-developed intelligent pneumonia screening and surveillance system has helped Italian doctors evaluate CT scans and improved COVID-19 diagnostic speed.
中国自主研发的智能肺炎筛查和监测系统帮助了意大利医生更好评估CT扫描,并提高了新冠病毒的诊断速度;

An AI-based temperature detection system has helped automatically check body temperature in Argentina, reducing the risk of human-to-human transmission.
基于AI的温度检测系统帮助阿根廷进行人群自动体温检查,有效减少了人与人之间传播的风险。 

Unmanned aerial vehicles have been used in Italy and France for transportation and temperature measurement, which improved the efficiency of epidemic prevention and control.
无人驾驶飞行器已在意大利和法国投入使用,用于运输以及体温检测等方面,有效提高了防疫工作的效率。
