巴以停火了
当地时间5月21日凌晨，加沙地带的民众在黑夜中走上街头，欢庆来之不易的和平。在这此前，这里一直是巴以冲突胶着的主战场，持续的空袭和炮击已经把这里炸成一片废墟。
在历经了11天的冲突后，当地时间20日晚，以色列政府安全会议决定接受埃及提出的巴以双方无条件停火协议。协议于当地时间21日凌晨2时生效。
据巴勒斯坦卫生部公布的最新数据，本轮冲突已导致巴勒斯坦261人死亡，受伤者超过8000人。以色列方面表示，包括2名儿童在内的12人身亡，数百人受伤。
巴以双方的激烈冲突给这一地区造成沉重的打击。加沙地区的基础设施陷入瘫痪，数以万计的无辜平民饱受战火牵连，被迫逃离了家园。据联合国官员介绍，加沙地带已有大约1万人流离失所，生存状况岌岌可危。
至巴以双方宣布停火之前，战争局势已经进入白热化阶段。临近停火协议生效仅几个小时前，加沙地带的炮火依旧未停，巴以双方仍在持续交火。自冲突爆发以来，哈马斯向以色列发射超过4000枚火箭弹，以色列也对加沙展开连串空袭。

为避免战争的进一步扩大导致更加严重的人道主义灾难，近一周以来，世界各国纷纷发声表态，来自埃及、卡塔尔、联合国的多名外交官出面斡旋，为促成巴以双方的停火作调停工作。
2021年5月16日，中国国务委员兼外长王毅主持联合国安理会巴以冲突问题紧急公开会议。王毅指出，巴勒斯坦问题始终是中东问题的核心。中东不稳，天下难安。只有全面、公正、持久地解决巴勒斯坦问题，中东地区才能真正实现持久和平和普遍安全。
多方的努力最终促成了此次巴以停火协议的签订。停火宣布后，埃及表示将派遣两个安全代表团分别前往以色列和巴勒斯坦，跟进落实停火协议的执行情况，并商定后续的维稳措施。

安理会本月轮值主席、中国常驻联合国代表张军20日在联大有关巴以问题的会议上发言表示，自巴以冲突发生以来，中方作为安理会轮值主席，同安理会成员密切协作，共推动安理会举行了4次会议，并提出了主席新闻谈话草案，推动当事方停止敌对行动，尽快缓解紧张局势。安理会绝大多数成员都呼吁立即停止敌对行动，都要求采取措施保护平民，都支持以两国方案为基础公正解决巴勒斯坦问题。
5月21日，国家国际发展合作署新闻发言人田林表示，为帮助巴勒斯坦政府和人民应对紧急人道危机，彰显国际人道主义精神，中国政府于5月20日启动人道主义援助应急响应机制，将根据巴方急需，尽快向巴政府提供紧急人道主义援助，帮助巴方开展伤者救治和流离失所者安置等工作。
At the United Nations General Assembly on the Situation in Middle East Thursday, China's UN Ambassador Zhang Jun called for immediate cessation of hostilities and stop of violence in Gaza, and protection of legitimate rights and interests of Palestinian people.
