对话思想者 | 西方民主绝非济世良药，中国模式更适合中国

在发展到一定阶段后，中国是否应该实行西方的政治制度？中国未来需要朝着多党竞争发展吗？复旦大学中国研究院院长张维为在接受刘欣专访时表示，中国选举与选拔相结合的方式远优于西方单纯的选举制度。后者作为前工业时代产物，其缺陷与生俱来，在当代更需改革。中国的发展无法被遏制，西方国家也许是时候正视中国的成就，从中国模式中学习经验。

Prof. Zhang Weiwei, Director of China Institute at Fudan University, says China has found a selection plus election system which has performed better than the Western political system. Now China is the world's largest economy by purchasing power parity, and it's time for the West to look at the Chinese model in honesty and learn something from it.
