December 20, 2022 marks the 23rd anniversary of Macao's return to China. Since its return, the mainland and Macao have enjoyed complementary advantages and coordinated development, with increasingly close exchanges and growing trade. As of November, the total value of imports and exports from Macao through Gongbei Customs, the nearest port to the Macao Peninsula, reached 335.5 billion yuan ($48 billion).
