当地时间7日清晨，巴勒斯坦伊斯兰抵抗运动（哈马斯）从加沙地带向以色列发动近年来最大规模火箭弹袭击。

据当地媒体报道，截至北京时间10月8日21时55分，巴勒斯坦和以色列新一轮冲突已造成双方逾千人死亡。

CGTN拍客在加沙地带城市汗尤尼斯拍摄到了射向以色列的火箭弹，现场浓烟四起，以色列多地响起防空警报。

从CGTN拍客从加沙回传的独家视频中可以看到，当地时间10月7日傍晚，加沙地区汗尤尼斯中心的一栋公寓在以色列空袭中被炸毁。此外，当地时间10月8日凌晨2:30左右，加沙地带汗尤尼斯的一家生产银行（Production Bank）遭遇以方空袭后发生爆炸。该银行在当地有很多分支。

Footage sent by a CGTN stringer shows that on the evening of October 7, an apartment in the center of Khan Younis in Gaza was bombed by an Israeli air strike. The production bank, located in Khan Younis in the Gaza Strip, was also bombed by Israelis at around 2:30 a.m., October 8. This bank is affiliated with Hamas, and has several branches in the Gaza Strip.

Over 1,000 Palestinians and Israelis have been killed in the escalation of tensions and violence that began on Saturday morning. 

The death toll from Hamas' surprise attack on Israel has reached 659 while Israeli airstrikes in Gaza has killed 370 people, according to media accounts.

Sirens are sounding in central Israel, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in a statement. 

The Israeli army warned of sirens across the country's south for more than an hour, urging the public to stay near bomb shelters.

Hours later, the IDF said on social media that it carried out strikes on Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip "in response to the barrages of rockets launched by Hamas from Gaza at Israel."

据外媒报道，以色列总理办公室8日表示，以色列安全内阁7日晚间批准允许内塔尼亚胡政府“进行可能导致战争的军事行动”。这意味着以色列决定向哈马斯正式宣战。

此轮冲突立刻引发全球反应，多方作出表态。

联合国安理会将于8日就巴以局势举行内部磋商

中方表态：呼吁有关各方保持冷静克制 立即停火

中国外交部8日表示：中方对当前巴以紧张局势加剧和暴力升级深表关切，呼吁有关各方保持冷静克制，立即停火，保护平民，防止局势进一步恶化。

巴以冲突反复上演，充分说明和平进程长期停滞不可持续。平息巴以冲突的根本出路在于落实“两国方案”，建立独立的巴勒斯坦国。国际社会应当增强紧迫感，加大对巴勒斯坦问题的投入，推动巴以双方早日恢复和谈，寻求持久和平之道。中方将继续同国际社会一道为此作出不懈努力。

China is deeply concerned about the current escalation of tensions and violence between the Palestinians and the Israelis and calls on relevant parties to remain calm and exercise restraint, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson said on Sunday.

"The international community needs to act with greater urgency, step up input into the Palestine question, facilitate the early resumption of peace talks between Palestine and Israel, and find a way to bring about enduring peace," said the spokesperson. China will continue to work relentlessly with the international community toward achieving that end, added the spokesperson.

阿拉伯国家联盟秘书长呼吁以色列立即停止在巴勒斯坦加沙地带的军事行动。

约旦国王阿卜杜拉二世则强调在支持“两国方案”的基础上找到真正的和平外交解决巴以问题的重要性。

此外，包括埃及、伊拉克、阿曼等在内的多国也发表声明，呼吁国际社会介入以阻止事态升级。
