回顾丨Design with X -智能可持续社区设计支持系统展丨2021环同济设计周

Foreword

前言

城市是全球人口增长、财富创造、能源消耗和环境污染的主要载体。下一个20年城市如何发展将很大程度上决定了我们是否有能力应对这个时代诸如公众健康、气候变化等的主要挑战。因此，在设计领域急需全新的方法和工具来创造一个高性能的城市系统。

然而，当今的城市基础设施设计和城市规划设计策略却不足以应对这些挑战。当今的规划决策指导着千万亿的资金投入，但是这些决定着城市发展命运的决策形成过程却缺乏数据和实证的支撑，这些数据和实证是预测城市性能和复杂的人的活动的关键。

Cities are major carriers of global population growth, wealth creation, energy consumption, and environmental pollution. How cities evolve in the next 20 years will largely determine our ability to meet the major challenges of this era such as public health, climate change, etc. As a result, there is an urgent need for new approaches and tools in the design field to create a high-performance urban system.

However, today's urban infrastructure design and design strategies in urban planning are inadequate to meet these challenges. Today's planning decisions guide trillions of dollars of capital investment, but the processes that shape these decisions that determine the fate of urban development are not supported by the data and empirical evidence that are key to predicting urban performance and complex human activities.

本次展览围绕以上主题展开，由刘洋老师和CSL@shanghai团队联合开展，顺利举办为期11天的展览，展览得到了参观者的积极反响。
