课程成果丨Business Model Design 设计商业模式
课程简介
About
《设计商业模式》是由我院副教授李何槿（Hyejin Lee）面向本科生开设的一门课程。2023-2024 学年春季学期共有 167 名本科生修读，其中有 144 名大二学生和 23 名大三/大四学生。他们大多数在课前既没有接触过商业方面的理论知识，也没有商业实战经验。
该课程旨在了解企业概况、创业过程，以及设计如何介入和推动企业建立更好的生态系统。本学期课程主要分为两部分内容：一部分是循环经济，另一部分是各种商业类型和模式。在习得知识的基础上，同学们提出了他们的商业创想，学会了如何定义目标客户、计算可寻址市场规模、制定财务计划、确定研究方法、撰写商业报表和MVP模型，也掌握了盈利和非盈利公司的概念、C 型公司和 B 型公司的区别等等，由于篇幅限制，无法在此一一呈现。
课程以全英文授课，虽然是一堂人数众多的大课，但所有同学都能投入地分享自己的观点。Hyejin老师与同学们度过了一段美好的时光，对大家认可有加。
最终，16个团队尝试建立和完善了各自的商业模式，本文是他们的方案介绍。
Business Model Design was for 167 undergraduate students, 144 of the 2nd, and 23 of 3rd and 4th grade students have taken this course. Most of them have neither any business knowledge nor business experience.
Students learned two parts in this course. One part is Circular Economy, and the other is various Business Types and Models. Based on this knowledge, they came up with business ideas. Although it doesn’t show in this short presentation of their work here, they learned how to define their target customers and calculate the addressable market size, make financial plans, research methods, write their business statements and MVP, present better ways as well as the concept of the profit and non-profit companies, the difference between C and B corporations.
This course was taught in English. Although there were huge language difficulties, all the students followed the course beautifully. Although the class was held in the large auditorium due to the large number, all the students were engaged in sharing their opinions. I had a great experience with these students who are the future of China. Please encourage my students to keep their interest in Business ideas in the future. Thanks a lot~

StitchUp is a platform that gives new life to clothing by offering comprehensive crowdsourced clothing repair and redesign services. StitchUp offers comprehensive clothing repair and redesign services to promote sustainable fashion. By extending garment life and reducing textile waste, we help users give their beloved clothes a fresh appeal through full makeovers and micro-remodeling, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern creativity.

ROOMIE

宠物喜欢穿梭的卫生死角、无法沟通的“随手关门”、物件的坠落隐患……现代家庭越来越多选择养宠作为陪伴，甚至把宠物视作重要的家庭成员。然而室内的设计往往顾不及“宠因工程”，市场上也只有一些零散的宠物家具供养宠家庭选择。
“ROOMIE和它住”是一个沟通设计师与养宠家庭的专业咨询平台。我们从平台层面做初步分流，降低沟通成本；对接合适的室内设计师，为有不同需求、养不同宠物的家庭提供定制化的室内装修、布局建议或设计方案。
我们相信洞察和设计，才能够真正平衡人宠共居的复杂问题。
Tiny spaces that only cats can squeeze through, doors and windows that are hard to keep open or closed, and small objects that cats can easily knock over... More and more modern families choose to keep pets as companions, and even regard pets as important family members. However, the interior design is often less than the "pet project", and there is only some scattered pet furniture on the market to support pet families.
"ROOMIE" is a professional consulting platform that connects designers with pet families. We do initial distribution from the platform level to reduce communication costs; Connect with the right interior designers to provide customized interior decoration, layout suggestions or design solutions for families with different needs and pets.
We believe that insight and design can truly balance the complexity of co-living situation.

On Shooow

On Shooow 依托 AR技术和3d扫描技术，为学生和设计师提供了一个专注于展览设计作品的保存、回顾的线上平台。无论是刚起步的学生还是经验丰富的设计师，都能通过这款应用程序将他们的展览设计作品数字化保存，避免了实体模型变成不可回收的垃圾；同时，用户可以随时随地欣赏和学习各大高校的毕业展览及设计作品，进行深入的作品分析和学习。这不仅有助于提升个人设计水平，还为设计领域的持续创新和发展提供了有力支持。On Shooow让设计作品跨越时间和空间的限制，展现无限可能。
Our On shooow application help students and designers who want to preserve exhibition design works and review exhibition works by offering digital restoration and AR scanning technology.

OPen gardens!

OPen gardens! 开园是一款以天地社花园为蓝本，为花园使用者提供基于花园的活动，为花园拥有者提供运营服务的综合服务平台。
在花园基地天地社花园，平台会定期为花园使用者提供更有利于可持续生活方式养成的活动和比赛，同时允许使用者在平台租借花园并创建活动。在天地社花园初步运营进入正轨后，平台将会扩大规模，为希望利用闲置空地建造花园系统的拥有者提供一套可行的建造运营手册或实地考察服务。
OPen gardens! is a comprehensive service platform based on the TianDS Garden, which provides garden-based activities for garden users and operation services for garden owners.
At the garden base TianDS garden, the platform will regularly provide garden users with activities and competitions that are more conducive to the development of a sustainable lifestyle, as well as allow users to rent gardens and create activities on the platform. After the initial operation of the garden is on track, the platform will be expanded to provide a feasible set of construction operation manuals or site visits for owners who wish to use vacant land to build garden systems.

L-Last提供宠物生态殡葬服务，旨在为消费者提供安全、值得信任的宠物遗体处理和骨灰加工服务，对宠物殡葬的生态友好和人文关怀两方面作出贡献。失去爱宠并希望陪伴爱宠走完最后一段旅程的宠物主人们可以通过选择线上预约、宠物遗体接送、清洁美容、举办告别仪式、冰葬、骨灰制成生态纪念品等一系列服务，与爱宠好好告别的同时把爱和美好的回忆延续。
L-Last offers pet eco-friendly funeral services, aiming to provide consumers with safe and trustworthy pet remains handling and ash processing services. The company contributes to both ecological friendliness and humane care in pet funerals. Pet owners who have lost their beloved pets and wish to accompany them on their final journey can choose from a series of services including online appointments, pet remains pickup and delivery, cleaning and grooming, farewell ceremonies, ice burial, and converting ashes into eco-friendly memorial items. This allows them to say goodbye to their pets while continuing to cherish the love and beautiful memories.

EzSeat offers outdoor inflatable sofa rental service for music-festival-goers who believe in the value of sustainable action. By chosing TPU material and making our products easy to clean, repair and recycle, we aim to achieve circular economy and contribute to reducing waste and energy consumption.

Pill Pocket是一款为独居人士设计的零售药品贩卖机。这一设备允许个人根据疗程精确购买药品，从而减少药品浪费。同时配备详细的购药指南和药品科普信息，帮助顾客了解药品的同时做出更明智的药品选择。Pill Pocket不仅是一个药品销售平台，更是一个教育和服务的整合体，为学生提供更便捷、高效的健康管理方案。
Pill Pocket is a retail medicine vending machine designed for individuals living alone. This machine allows individuals to purchase medications accurately according to their treatment plans, thereby reducing medication waste. It is equipped with detailed purchasing guides and educational information on drugs, helping customers make wiser choices. Pill Pocket is not just a medication sales platform but also an integrated system for education and service, providing students with a more convenient and efficient solution for managing their health.

LifeExp力图突破传统旅游模式的局限，为游客提供沉浸式的当地生活体验。通过LifeExp小程序，游客可以与当地人连接配对：对游客，以相对低的价格，与当地人一起度过平凡的、具有真正本土气息的、满怀人文交流与独特记忆的一天；对当地人，入驻平台后，可以在闲暇之余，在轻松愉快的交友氛围中充盈自己的收入。同时，我们致力于促进旅游业的可持续发展，增强不同地区间的文化认同，疏解传统景点的交通压力，为当地经济带来积极影响。
LifeExp aims to break through the limitations of traditional tourism models, providing tourists with immersive local life experiences. Through the LifeExp mini-program, tourists can connect and pair with locals: for tourists, they can spend an ordinary day filled with genuine local flavor, human interaction, and unique memories at a relatively low cost; for locals, after joining the platform, they can supplement their income in a relaxed and enjoyable social atmosphere during their free time. Simultaneously, we are committed to promoting the sustainable development of the tourism industry, enhancing cultural identification between different regions, alleviating traffic pressure at traditional tourist spots, and positively impacting the local economy.

Rainride Buddy

雨骑宝是共享单车上的便携环保雨衣提供服务项目，旨在帮助人们在雨天更方便地骑行，从而倡导低碳出行。用户可以在雨天骑行共享单车时，通过扫描二维码打开单车上的小型售货机，购买由可回收材料制成的一次性雨衣。使用后可将雨衣投入我们专门的雨衣回收箱（供我们重新生产新雨衣），以此获得会员积分等奖励，也可以直接扔进可回收垃圾箱。我们希望用我们的创意，在方便人们生活的同时，引领可持续的价值观和生活理念。
Rainride Buddy is a portable eco-friendly raincoat providing service on shared bikes, aiming to help people ride more conveniently on rainy days, thus promoting low-carbon travel.Users can purchase disposable raincoats made of recyclable materials by scanning the QR code to open the vending container on the bike when they need to ride shared bikes on rainy days, and put them into our specialized raincoat recycle bins (for us to re-produce new raincoats) to get rewards such as membership points after use, or throw them directly into a recyclable trash bin. We hope to use our creativity to facilitate people's lives, and at the same time lead to sustainable values and living concepts.

edueats express 是一个 P2P 平台，通过连接忙碌的学生，帮助他们节省排队买饭时间。同时提供了兼职送餐机会。用户可以直接在小程序上下单，选择所需的餐食和配送的时间地点。其他学生则可以通过浏览订单信息，根据自身行程与订单的匹配度来接单配送，从而赚取佣金。配送完成后，用户可以对订单进行评价，为其他用户提供参考。
此外，我们还为相关商家提供可持续包装袋用于打包和配送，旨在全流程促进校园餐饮资源的可持续发展。edueats express 利用学生互助的形式提供了方便快捷的用餐方式，支持了校园绿色生活。
edueats express is a P2P platform that connects busy students, helping them save time by avoiding long lines for meals. Additionally, it offers an opportunity for students to earn extra income by delivering meals during their hectic daily routines.
Users can place orders directly through our mini-program, selecting their desired meals and specifying delivery times and locations. Other students can browse the order information and accept delivery tasks based on the compatibility with their own schedules, earning a commission for each delivery. After the delivery is completed, users can rate the service, providing valuable feedback for others.
Furthermore, we provide sustainable packaging bags to participating merchants for packing and delivering meals, aiming to promote the sustainable use of dining resources throughout the entire process. edueats express not only offers a convenient and efficient dining solution for students but also supports green living through student mutual assistance and resource sharing.

CLOTHWELL 是一个APP平台，旨在让用户以可持续的方式探索独特的时尚风格，提供一个拥抱多样性和环保生活的虚拟衣橱。平台可以提供个性化的穿搭建议，时尚博主们可以在网上分享他们的风格，用户也可以在平台上回收旧衣物。
用户可通过拍照、上传购买链接等方式将衣柜里的衣物添加到平台的收藏中，便于收纳整理衣物并快速挑选。每个人都可以在社区中分享自己的穿搭，并从其他用户那里获得或给予建议，还会有时尚专家分享他们的穿衣经验，同时平台会为用户推荐个性化的每日穿搭选择，更会在用户在此平台购入二手衣物时提供穿搭方案。
CLOTHWELL is an app platform designed to help users explore unique fashion styles in a sustainable way, providing a virtual wardrobe that embraces diversity and eco-friendly living. The platform offers personalized styling advice, allows fashion bloggers to share their styles online, and enables users to recycle old clothes through the platform.
Users can add items from their wardrobe to their collection on the platform by taking photos or uploading purchase links, making it easier to organize and quickly choose outfits. Everyone can share their outfits in the community, receive and give advice from other users, and fashion experts will share their dressing experiences. Additionally, the platform recommends personalized daily outfit choices and provides styling options when users purchase second-hand clothes through the platform.

Swapus 是一个专为在校大学生打造的二手交易平台，名称为Swap+Campus的缩写。大学生活中，学生们常常需要购买各种学习用品和生活用品，而大学生群体“非典型独居人群”的这一特征又使很多物品得不到充分利用，导致资源浪费。
用户可以通过Swapus轻松发布二手闲置商品，也可以查找周边同学发布的二手商品，涵盖教科书、电子设备、日常生活用品等。商品按学校和校区分类，方便学生线下递交。此外，Swapus 提供在线沟通和交易的功能，确保安全便捷的交易体验。
加入 Swapus，让闲置物品物尽其用，结识志同道合的朋友，实现校园内资源共享和互助共赢。
Swapus is a second-hand trading platform specially designed for university students. The name is a blend of "Swap" and "Campus." During their time at university, students often need to purchase various study and living essentials. However, as a unique group of "non-typical solitary residents," many items go underutilized, leading to resource waste.
To alleviate this waste and reduce living costs for students, we launched Swapus. Our platform allows students to easily buy and sell second-hand items, ranging from textbooks and electronics to everyday necessities. Items on Swapus are categorized by school and campus, making it convenient for students to arrange in-person exchanges. Additionally, Swapus provides online communication and transaction features to ensure a safe and convenient trading experience.

Little Green Book

“小绿书”致力于搭建一个绿色、环保、可持续的半商业软件平台。我们生活在一个经济迅速发展的时代，然而，可持续性是我们依然需要关注的问题。我们通过桌面调研发现，如今的年轻人群体中缺少一个和可持续产品有关的媒体平台。
于是从这一点出发，我们打造了一个可持续生活方式的互动社区，用户可以发布和浏览有关绿色生活、可持续消费和零废弃生活方式等主题的帖子，分享个人经验、技巧和见解。平台允许用户购买、出售或交换二手物品，促进物品循环利用，减少浪费。
Our business plan is called "Little Green Book," which is a commercial software platform we are committed to building that focuses on green, environmentally friendly, and sustainable practices.
We live in an era of rapid economic development; however, sustainability remains an issue that requires our attention. Additionally, through desktop research, we found that there is a lack of media platforms related to sustainable products among the younger demographic.
Consequently, we have developed a series of UI design drafts for Little Green Book based on these ideas. Users can post and browse posts on topics such as green living,sustainable consumption, and zero-waste lifestyle, and share personal experiences, tips, and insights. The platform allows users to buy, sell or exchange second-hand items, promote the recycling of items,and reduce waste.

BorrowBridge 通过提供一个可靠的平台，帮助邻居借入和借出闲置产品。
生活中有些物品只需临时使用，如露营装备、派对用品，但购买会产生较大的经济支出，并长期占用家庭空间。用户可以通过 BorrowBridge 借物减轻经济负担，并通过重复利用减少对环境的影响，将产品的价值最大化。
平台提供了定制的搜索和发现机制，使用户可以轻松找到他们需要的东西，更方便地和附近的人进行面对面交易。平台支持提供离线交易信息，收取佣金，构建可持续循环，同时提供保护措施和保险选项，确保交易安全。
BorrowBridge helps neighbours who want to borrow and lend unused products by offering a reliable platform.
Many items bought for occasional use take up space, leading to wasted resources. By encouraging the reuse of items, it helps reduce waste and emissions. BorrowBridge is perfect for solving occasional needs. You can place unused items on the platform to earn money and select items you want to borrow to save money, and the platform provides offline transaction information for a commission fee, creating a sustainable cycle.
Instead of owning an item, products are shared among many people. This approach maximizes the utility of each product.Furthermore, we use algorithms to prioritize face-to-face transactions with nearby people, making the process not only convenient but also environmentally friendly.

在UniDine上，用户可以轻松发起或加入团体订餐和聚餐活动，浏览附近餐厅的菜单，并获取平台精心推荐的餐厅和菜品。此外，平台还提供餐饮推荐和点评功能，通过筛选个人资料匹配具有相似兴趣的用户。这些功能不仅满足了用户对简单易用的订餐平台、社交用餐机会、快速订餐和配送、多样化食物选择及实惠价格的期待，同时也有效减少了食物浪费、包装废弃物和运输排放，实现了用餐的环保与高效。
UniDine is a platform that helps students socialize with efficient lifestyle seekers by ordering food together. It offers affordable food delivery services, catering to users' diverse lifestyles and preferences. UniDine enhances the dining and social experience with features like group orders, dining events, and curated restaurant recommendations. The platform also includes review functions and matches users with similar interests. By meeting users' needs for easy ordering, social dining, quick delivery, and diverse food options, UniDine effectively reduces food waste, packaging waste, and transportation emissions, promoting eco-friendly dining.

Dumpster Divers

Dumpster Divers「垃圾桶潜水员」业务旨在为设计学生提供一个平台，展示他们的作品并出售剩余材料。通过这个计划，我们希望鼓励创意社交和合作，将多余的材料转化为机遇。
我们公司每周举办展览。参观者购票入场，观看学生作品和剩余材料，了解材料是如何被运用做成作品的。买家扫描二维码购买材料，我们代收款并返还90%的收入给卖家。展览为学生提供展示和学习机会，同时满足参观者对艺术和材料的需求，促进环保意识和创意社交。
Dumpster Divers aims to provide design students with a platform to showcase their works and sell leftover materials. Through this program, we hope to encourage creative social interaction and collaboration, turning excess materials into opportunities.
Our company holds weekly exhibitions where visitors purchase tickets to view student works and leftover materials, learning how they are used in artworks. Buyers scan a QR code to purchase materials, and we return 90% of the revenue to the sellers. The exhibition offers students opportunities to showcase and learn, while meeting visitors' needs for art and materials, promoting environmental awareness, and encouraging creative social interaction.
