About
第三届国际设计百人论坛 的主题是“设计新质力”，邀请了来自英国、澳大利亚、意大利、芬兰、日本、韩国等国的重量级嘉宾和中国设计师一起为上海乃至全球设计产业的发展建言献策。大会将结合今年WDCC开幕式上发布的 “DesignS：世界设计之都上海宣言” 和大会主题展 “设计新质力的七巧板” 展开讨论。四场主旨演讲分别从城市、环境、产业、生态的角度探讨设计如何成为新质生产力的创新引擎，三场尖峰对话将围绕“新质设计师队伍”、“管理设计以创新”和“设计重构生产关系”的主题展开思想碰撞，18位设计大师、设计新锐、设计组织领导人和设计教育家济济一堂，共话设计作为新质生产力的未来图景，描绘“设计新质力的七巧板”。特别值得一提的是，论坛邀请了2010世博会最佳实践区的总规划师唐子来教授分享上海世博会14年后的上海及世界城市建设故事和发展趋势。
作为首届世界设计之都大会的重要成果之一，上海市经济和信息化委员会委托同济大学牵头组建“上海国际设计百人智库”。这一新型智库不仅是本次论坛的承办单位，也是一个世界级的创意社群，汇聚全球设计产业领袖、组织领袖和学术领袖，本次论坛还将为第三批上海国际设计百人智库专家颁发聘书。
The theme of the 3rd International Design 100 Summit Forum is ‘Design as the New Productive Force’, and we have invited leading guests from the UK, Australia, Italy, Finland, Japan and South Korea to join Chinese designers to discuss the development of the design industry in Shanghai and worldwide. The forum will be held in conjunction with the "DesignS" Declaration released at the opening ceremony of WDCC2024 and the theme exhibition "Tangram of Design as the New Productive Force". Four keynote speeches will discuss how design can become an innovative engine of new productive force from the perspectives of city, environment, industry and ecology, while three panel discussions will focus on ‘The New Forms of Designers’, ‘Managing Design for Innovation’ and ‘Reframing the Relations of Production through Design’. 18 design masters, new designers, leaders of design organisations and design educators will gather to talk about the future of design as the engine of new productive force, and to depict the ‘Tangram of Design as the New Productive Force’. In particular, Prof Tang Zilai, Chief Planner of the 2010 Shanghai World Expo Best Practice Area, was invited to share the story of Shanghai after the Shanghai World Expo.
As a significant outcome of WDCC2022, the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization created and tasked Tongji University to lead the establishment of the "Shanghai International Design 100 Think Tank". This new think tank is not only the organiser of this forum, but also a world-class creative community that brings together global design industry leaders, organisations and academics. During the summit, the organizer will announce the third group of Shanghai International Design 100 Experts and present them with appointment letter.
