Win tickets to see Beijing punk band Zi Yue
See the OG Beijing punkers live in action at Tango
Founded in 1994, this Beijing rock band is set to perform once again after going on hiatus in 2015. Zi Yue, also known as 'Confucius says', is best known for their novel instrumentation and unique musical interpretations of classic Chinese rock 'n' roll. Their two album releases have garnered them high praise from fans and music critics alike, where they've also been cited as a silver lining in a declining Chinese rock scene.
And, because we love you, three lucky pairs now stand a chance to watch these Beijing rockers live. To win tickets for you and a plus one, simply share this blog on your WeChat moments with the text 'Time Out Beijing, take me to Zi Yue!', then send a screenshot of your moments to our WeChat account (TimeOutBeijingEN) along with your WeChat ID so we can contact you. Entries must be in by midnight on Friday 1 March, and winners will be notified by Saturday morning.
To tide you over, rock on with one of their best hits, 相对 (xiang dui).
Bravo Entertainment brings Zi Yue to Tango on Saturday 2 March. If you didn't manage to win tickets, don't fret: door tickets can still be purchased at 220RMB, just scan the QR code below.
