英国哈里王子这几天又上了英媒的头条。

眼看哈里和梅根好事将近，5月19日就要大婚了，最近两人的婚事正式得到了英国女王的御批↓↓↓

英国《每日邮报》：

“亨利王子将与瑞秋成婚：女王正式同意两人婚事，并用了两人的真名”

咦？难不成平时大家喊惯了的哈里王子和梅根是对假CP？怎么又要女王来批准一遍？先来看看这道“圣旨”是咋回事儿吧~

英国当地时间15日，英国女王伊丽莎白二世在白金汉宫会见王室咨询机构——枢密院成员，根据公布的会议纪录，女王已正式同意孙子哈里王子与美国女演员梅根•马克尔的婚约↓↓↓

It read: "I declare My Consent to a Contract of Matrimony between My Most Dearly Beloved Grandson Prince Henry Charles Albert David of Wales and Rachel Meghan Markle, which Consent I am causing to be signified under the Great Seal and to be entered in the Books of the Privy Council."

上面写了“我宣布同意我最爱的孙子威尔士王子亨利•查尔斯•阿尔伯特•大卫与瑞秋•梅根•马克尔的婚约，此同意将加盖王国玉玺，并载入枢密院记录。”

所以，大家看好啦~ 哈里王子其实应该叫亨利，平时我们说的哈里是人家的小名（nickname）,而梅根的名字应该是瑞秋，梅根是她的中间名，走入影视圈后也成为了广为人知的艺名（stage name）。不过，巧的是准王妃此前在《金装律师》（Suits）中的名字也是瑞秋。

女王这款同意书其实早在威廉和凯特大婚前也发过，根据英国王位继承法，王位前六位顺位继承人都必须在婚前得到女王的正式同意。要是哈里王子娶梅根没有得到女王的批准，那么他和自己的子嗣就不在王位继承之列了。

The Queen has given her formal consent to the marriage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle - using their real names, Henry and Rachel.

In a letter to the Privy Council, the monarch expressed her approval of the upcoming wedding between her "most dearly beloved grandson" and his fiancee, 36.

At a Privy Council meeting on Wednesday, the monarch made the declaration and will have signed a Great Seal of the Realm.

The first six people in the line of succession must have the Queen's consent before they can marry on May 19, as set out by the Succession to the Crown Act 2013.

Should Prince Harry have married Meghan without the monarch's approval, he and his descendants would be banned from ever ascending to the throne.

不过，俩人的婚事刚刚得到女王的正式批准，就又因为一件事惊动了媒体……

啥事呢？哈里王子宣称：婚前协议他不签了。

这表示，哈里王子对自己拥有的预估3000万英镑（约2亿6千万人民币）的财产，毫不设防。

According to the Daily Mail, the 33-year-old prince — who has an estimated £30 million fortune — has declined to sign a prenuptial agreement ahead of the royal wedding in May.

上文中的prenuptial agreement即“婚前协议”，简称为prenup。在美国等西方国家，夫妻共同财产被称为community property，这是比较书面的表达，口语中也可称为shared property。而婚前的个人财产则是separate property。“协议”也可说accord。“达成协议”则有reach/nail down/come to an agreement/deal等多种说法。

据《每日邮报》报道，哈里王子的友人还透露：“哈里从来没想过要签婚前协议。他坚信他的婚姻能长久，所以没必要签署任何东西。”

"There was never any question in Harry's mind that he would sign a prenup," a source told the site. "He's determined that his marriage will be a lasting one, so there's no need for him to sign anything."

如此浪漫深情的操作，着实让吃瓜群众羡慕：看来是真爱了……

其实，哈里他哥威廉王子当年跟凯特王妃结婚，也没签婚前协议。

至少目前看来，哥哥一直是以身作则的宠妻模范，和老婆孩子成天同框秀恩爱，签不签协议貌似都没啥区别。

不过，哥俩的母亲戴安娜王妃，就吃过没签婚前协议的亏。

1996年，戴安娜与查尔斯王储离婚时，戴妃为了争取到1700万英镑的财产和每年40万英镑的抚养费，可是费尽了周折。

Harry would be following the example of his brother, Prince William, who rejected a prenup before tying the knot with Kate Middleton.

Their mother, who also didn’t have such an agreement, had to fight hard to win a divorce settlement of £17 million from Prince Charles in 1996, as well as £400,000 per year.

英国Brides网倒是认为，哈里王子不签挺正常，因为英国本来就不像美国那么流行签婚前协议。

Brides.com also notes that prenuptial agreements are not as common in the U.K. as they are in the U.S., which is another reason Harry may reject the idea.

然而据《每日邮报》报道，也有传言说，英国王室希望哈里能签署协议，保护他的财产：梅根之前可是才结婚两年就离了婚的呢……家财万贯的哈里难道不应该防着点儿？

The disclosure follows persistent rumours that courtiers wanted Harry to safeguard his chunk of the Windsor millions. Meghan divorced her first husband, American film producer Trevor Engelson, after two years.

据《时代周刊》报道，哈里王子的预估财产包括他自己的工资，以及他从戴安娜王妃那里继承的遗产。哈里和威廉王子都在30岁时继承母亲遗产，大约每人1000万英镑。

The prince's estimated fortune is comprised of his own earnings, as well as his inheritance from his late mother, Princess Diana. Harry and William received half of her estate when they turned 30, which is roughly £10 million each, Time reports.

另外，哈里王子还继承了母亲的私人珠宝珍藏，根据遗嘱，戴安娜王妃希望这些留给自己未来的儿媳。的确，梅根的订婚戒指上就有两颗戴安娜王妃的钻石~

Additionally, the inheritance also included some jewelry from Diana's personal collection, which she wanted her sons to save for their future wives. This explains why Markle's engagement ring include two of Diana's diamonds.

梅根的预估财产跟哈里相比就相形见绌了，主要是她通过拍戏及投资积累的650万美元（约460万英镑）。

In comparison to Harry's fortune, Markle is worth an estimated US$6.5 million from her acting career and other ventures.

英国Slater Heelis法律事务所家庭律师 Kim Aucott认为，哈里和梅根俩人手头都很富裕，签订婚前协议仍然是保护他们财产，避免发生纠纷的好方法。

While both Harry and Markle are well-off on their own, family lawyer Kim Aucott, of U.K. law firm Slater Heelis, previously told Express U.K. that it's still a good idea for the couple to get a prenup in order to keep their financial matters private.

他还说“像哈里或梅根这样情况的人，我都会建议签婚前协议。这样一来他们就可以在不曝光的情况下处理财务问题，有了婚前协议会更加私密。”

"I would have said anyone in their position should be advised to have [a] prenup," Aucott told the site after the royal couple got engaged in November. "And the reason being is so they can resolve financial matters between themselves without it being in the spotlight. There is so much more privacy and confidentially with a prenup."

对此，肯辛顿宫的发言人拒绝对“私事”进行评论。

A Kensington Palace spokesman declined to comment on the “private matter”.

然而听说这事儿的英国吃瓜群众，几乎都开始替王子担忧了……

英国当地时间5月19日中午，时长约1小时，比较不寻常的是当天是周六，而英国王室婚礼大多在工作日举行。

Prince Harry — formally known as Prince Henry Charles Albert David of Wales — will marry Markle on May 19 in an hour-long ceremony starting at 7 a.m. EST, or noon local time.

The date is a Saturday — unusual, as most British royal weddings take place on a weekday.

哈里王子结婚这天王室应该又迎来了新生命，因为凯特王妃的第三个孩子在4月份就要出生了。

There could be a newborn at the wedding.

Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, and Prince William are expecting their third child shortly before the wedding. Kensington Palace announced in October that Middleton’s due date is in April.

婚礼将在温莎城堡的圣乔治教堂举行。

The wedding will take place at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.

The wedding service will begin at 12 noon at St George's Chapel. The Dean of Windsor will conduct the service and The Archbishop of Canterbury will officiate as the couple make their vows.

When the engagement was announced, Kensington Palace said the wedding will "reflect [the couple’s] characters and personalities" and be a moment of "fun and joy."

在仪式结束后，新人将乘坐马车从圣乔治教堂出发在温莎镇上进行巡游，之后再回到那里。

Wedding guests will then meet the pair at for a reception at St. George's Hall.

Harry’s father, Prince Charles, will hold a private reception later that evening for the newlyweds, with close friends and family members in attendance at an undisclosed location.

哈里和梅根一共邀请了2640人在温莎城堡围观两人到来和马车游行。

The soon-to-be royal couple invited 2,640 people into the grounds of Windsor Castle, a prime location to watch the pair's arrival and carriage procession.

其中大部分（确切的说是1200人）是公众，由当地政府部门提名。

The majority of those invited, 1,200 to be exact, will be members of the public, nominated by local Lord Lieutenant offices.

之前据肯辛顿宫透露，新人希望入选的人是来自不同背景、不同年龄的人，包括有出色领导力的年轻人，以及为社区服务贡献的人。

"The couple has asked that the people chosen are from a broad range of backgrounds and ages, including young people who have shown strong leadership, and those who have served their communities," the palace said in a statement.

The pair also invited members of charities and other organizations, local schoolchildren, residents of Windsor and members of the Royal Household. However, those invitations do not include a seat at the ceremony at St. George's Chapel, which seats about 800.

Those spots are reserved for immediate family and close friends of the bride and groom.

Harry's grandmother Queen Elizabeth II and other royals are expected to attend the wedding, along with Markle's parents, Thomas Markle and Doria Ragland.

另外，去年有报道称，哈里和梅根希望美国前总统奥巴马夫妇也来参加婚礼，但是英国政府很担心这样做特朗普会有意见。

Additionally, a Dec. 26 report said that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle want former President Barack Obama and former first lady Michelle to attend their spring wedding. But the British government is reportedly concerned that President Trump will take it as a snub.

对于这件事，去年年底哈里王子在BBC一档广播节目中回应，并不清楚，还没有列好嘉宾名单。谁知道会不会请他呢~并不想毁掉惊喜。

When asked about the Obamas' possible attendance on Dec. 27 on BBC Radio 4’s Today program, Prince Harry replied: "I don’t know about that – we haven’t even put the invite or the guest list together. Who knows if he’s going to be invited or not? I wouldn't want to ruin that surprise."

辣妹组合成员Mel B上月也在脱口秀节目中透露，将会参加哈里王子的婚礼，还爆料辣妹们都收到了邀请，但是要不要合体演出，她并没有确认。

Spice Girls member Mel B said on the talk show "The Real" Feb. 27 that she will attend the couple's nuptials -- and revealed that her fellow bandmates were invited, too. The singer didn't confirm if the pop group would perform at the wedding reception.

本月6日《Hello!》杂志报道称，梅根主演的《金装律师》的剧组人员也有被邀请。

Also on March 6, Hello! reported that Markle's "Suits" castmates will be among those to get invites when they are sent out.

What’s the plan for the royal wedding cake?

本月，肯辛顿宫发布消息称，梅根已经挑选好了她喜欢的厨师以及婚宴佳肴。她挑选的这位厨师克莱尔•普塔克出生在美国，现在伦敦经营一家面包店。她将制作一款柠檬接骨木花味的婚礼蛋糕，上面淋上奶油并装饰上鲜花。

In March, Kensington Palace shared news that Markle had selected her preferred pastry chef and celebratory delicacy of choice. Chef Claire Ptak, an American-born chef who runs the small London bakery Violet Cakes, will get to do the sweet honor. She’ll be whipping up a lemon elderflower cake for the party guests, topped with buttercream and fresh flowers. Ptak’s bakery is known for its original and organic creations — and the chef is clearly excited about the assignment, as she posted on social media.
