BIKE ALERT! NEW Parking & Riding Regulations
According to Jing’an District, parking regulation for bicycles (including bike shares) will be highly enforced on 28 roads as of immediate effect. Fines will be between RMB20 to RMB50
According to “Regulations of Shanghai Municipality on Road Traffic”, we are only allowed to park non-motor vehicles at non-motor vehicle road parking spots.

In addition, according to Public Security Bureau traffic police, the bikes and non-motor vehicles are banned on city expressways including Highways, viaducts, cross-river tunnels and cross-river bridges among other areas barring non-motor vehicles.
In this March, there are 52 violations recorded. The violators will be given a warning or imposed a fine of RMB 20-50.
