Police Officer Knocks Woman and Baby to the Ground over Parking

Video of a Shanghai police officer slamming a baby-holding woman to the ground is going viral on Chinese social media today. At 10:30am this morning, Songjiang police were citing a woman for illegal parking on Jiudu Road near Laifang Road.

The woman refused to cooperate with the police and move her car, and can be seen yelling at the officer in the video clip.

As tensions rise the officer appears to slam the woman to the ground, sending her baby falling down onto the ground next to her. The lady and the baby have been sent to a local hospital for evaluation, and the police officer is under investigation.
