Hilton Shanghai to Change Operators
Starting January 1st, 2018, Hilton Shanghai will no longer be operated by the Hilton Group. It will change operators and names, but there hasn’t been any official announcement yet regarding who the new operators will be.
Rumors have swirled that Jinjiang Group will be the new company running the show. So perhaps you can expect a new ‘Jingjiang Hotel’ to take its place.
Opened in 1987, Hilton Shanghai is the first Hilton Hotel in China. Over the past 30 years, the hotel has been a staple of upscale tourism in the city, and a scenic spot for all kinds of people passing through. It has luxury rooms with amazing views, seven famous restaurants and bars and one swimming pool with natural lighting.
Owing to its location and convenient transportation, it’s always among the top choices for celebrities when they visit Shanghai. It has also becomes the designated place for Tennis Masters Cup.
