Last weekend, Shanghai conducted a mass screening all over the city. Now it’s going to be continued until the end of July.

At the press conference on June 15^th, Shanghai announced that from now until the end of July, mass testing will be conducted every weekend in all districts.

Compounds that have COVID-19 cases in the past week will be locked down during the testing period. Once everyone in the compound gets tested, the lockdown will be lifted.

Meanwhile, negative test report within 72 hours (or test record within 24 hours) is still required for taking public transportation or entering public places.

Zero Test Causes Yellow Health Code

1 Test Every 7 Days at Least

Another thing to pay attention to is that your health code will turn yellow if you have zero test in 7 days. The code will return to green within 24 hours of a negative PCR test.

Free PCR testing has been extended to the end of July. So, feel "free" to get tested at those testing booths that can be seen on every street.
