China x public holiday = ridiculously huge crowds – you don't need us to tell you that. With 650 million people reportedly travelling domestically this past week (and spending a hell of a lot of money in the process) many tourist hot spots, railway stations and airports across the country turned into veritable scrums of people. Here is a selection of photos bound to give you serious crowd anxiety and make you glad you stayed home.
