04/30丨四个事实：关于 DESCENDENTS 这支伟大的朋克乐队

首先，让我通过给大家放一首《All The Small Things》带大家复习一下我们的青春期。还记不记得10年前的你听的那些摇滚入门金曲，现在可能都很难启齿的偶像们：Avril Lavigne、Green Day、Simple Plans、Nickelback、还有Blink-182。对！这一次的文章会让你回到你最初被摇滚吸引的那个时代，而这个乐队是影响了所有上面提到的乐队, 他们基本上发明了流行朋克：Descendetns。看一下在中国网站上也可以找到的纪录片，可能你更能回到那个时代：

看完这个纪录片以后，有四个重点向大家概括一下：

第一：DESCENDENTS是谁？他们是BLINK-182，NOFX的英雄。
Descendents成立于1977年的美国加州洛杉矶，那时候的鼓手Bill正处于青少年时期，Bill在Keith Morris（Black Flag的主唱）的爸爸的渔船上工作。他问Keith应该听什么音乐。但是没有想到的是，这是Bill走向他的摇滚之路的第一步，之后BILL 成为了Descendents的主脑，并在1982年到1985年参加了Black Flags的巡演和录制。Descendents是朋克历史上非常重要的一个乐队，影响了80/90年代的许多知名朋克乐队，比如BLINK-182， Foo Fighters，NOFX等等。BLINK 182的乐手腿上一个纹身便是DESCENDENTS创作的一个角色：MOLO也就是乐队主唱。这个角色来自他们最知名的专辑《MILO GOES TO COLLEGE》。

No.1: They （DESCENDENTS who is going to tour with us in April) are Blink-182 and Nofx‘s heros.
Descendents was born in 1977 in L.A. California America, Bill at that time was only a teenager, who loves fishing and worked on Keith(Black Flags) 's Dad's boat. Bill asked Keith what music he should listen to.But the things happened after is that Bill played in Black Flags, and made Desendents. It is such an important band that it influnces so many bands like Blink 182,Foo Fighters,NOFX and so on. The drummer from Blink-182 has Descendents tattoo: MILO on his leg.
Milo is the singer from Descendents. Speaking of Milo, we will have to talk about this album: <Milo Goes to College>
第二：说到MILO，Descendents的主唱。像很多摇滚乐队明星一样，MILO是那种具有科学家潜质的乐队成员。
MILO是一个书呆子，但同时他在台上却是最摇滚的乐队主唱，手插着后口袋，疯狂地朝着麦克风嘶叫着歌词。这也是MILO能那么深入人心地让大家记住，任何人都可能喜欢摇滚乐，尤其是科学家和书呆子们。
No.2, Milo, is a scientest character like many other rock stars who has a second life as a intelligent role in the society.
He is basically a geek, but at the same time, when he is with Descendents on stage, he is this crazy singer who akwards has his hand in his right pocket. This image makes people to think that Rock music is open to everybody, especially the geeky ones, the ones who are scienstists and doctors and so on.
The drummer Bill had his brain tumer removed in 2010 found that he has been reborn again is the reason the band is back together and touring on the road again, because being Punk once and forever is the desitiny.
第三：他们发明了POP PUNK。
他们的歌词在表达的是赤裸裸的爱情或者最直接或者最操蛋的亲情以及其他。David(Foo Fighters 和Nirvana)说：“如果Desecendents在1999年发行了Milos Goes To College，肯定大卖特卖，现在的Descendents应该都成大富豪，住在别墅里了。”

No. 3: They basically invented pop punk which has great melody and straight up simple beats.
David from Foo Fighters and Nirvana said if《Milo Goes to College》is released in 1999, it will make all of them millonares and living in mansions.
