On March 13th, 2023, Beijing time, Michelle Yeoh won the Best Actress award at the 95th Academy Awards for her performance in the movie "Blink of the Universe," making her the first Asian actress to win an Oscar in the history of the awards.During the award ceremony, she tightly held the trophy and told every woman that there is nothing they cannot do. The film tells the story of Evelyn, a Chinese-American immigrant whose family and career are all in a mess. On her father's birthday, she not only has to prevent her daughter from coming out of the closet, but also has to clean up after her incompetent husband and go to the tax office to deal with tax issues. Just as Evelyn enters the elevator of the building, her usually weak and cowardly husband suddenly transforms into a character from The Matrix, claiming to be from a parallel universe in a parallel timeline, where Xiu Lian is just one of many in a multiverse. Before she can comprehend her husband's words about parallel universes, evil forces begin to spread throughout the multiverse, and the world is about to be destroyed. Only Evelyn, who is "useless" in this universe, can save the world...

影片讲述了美国华裔移民伊芙琳（杨紫琼 ）家庭、事业全部一团乱麻时，在父亲生日大寿这天，她不仅要阻止女儿出柜而且要替无能的老公擦屁股，最后还得去税务局去解释处理税务问题。伊芙琳才走进大楼电梯，一向软烂怂的丈夫竟然摇身一变演起黑客帝国，声称自己是平行时空另一个宇宙里来的，而秀莲也是千万宇宙里的其中一个。还没理解这个平行时空宇宙里老公的话，邪恶势力已在多元宇宙中蔓延开来，世界即将毁灭，只有在这个宇宙里，“一无是处”的伊芙琳才能拯救世界……

The most moving aspect of the film is the intricate portrayal of East Asian family relationships. In East Asian families, we are accustomed to restraining our emotions and lack of communication. We often believe that even if we don't speak, our loved ones should be able to understand our emotions and we like to say "actions speak louder than words." Over time, the distance between family members accumulates and conflicts deepen, and only then do we begin to communicate and find that things have reached a point where communication is impossible.

影片最打动人的还是对东亚家庭关系的细致刻画，东亚家庭里我们总是习惯克制情感表达缺乏沟通交流，总认为即便自己不张嘴表达但亲人们应该能体会理解自己的情感，喜欢“一切尽在不言中”。久而久之，隔阂慢慢累积，矛盾越来越深，这个时候才开始张嘴沟通，然后发现事情已经到了无法沟通的地步。

In addition, the inability of East Asian parents to empathize with their children and their absolute control over their children is also a major problem. We often focus too much on the authority of parents, which can lead to parents being unable to interact with their children on an equal footing, and unable to empathize with their children's emotions and behavior. All of this can lead to rebellion in children, deepening parent-child estrangement, and deterioration of family relationships.

除此之外，东亚家庭里家长对子女无法共情、父母对子女绝对压制也是一大问题。我们常常会过于看着家长的权威，这往往会导致父母无法跟孩子平等相处，也无法使父母对子女的心理、行为共情，而这一切又会导致孩子叛逆、父母子女隔阂加深、家庭关系恶化等问题。

In the film, in the wildly imaginative multiple universes, love can traverse through all sorts of different universes and even the void.
