近日，一位89岁的广州老奶奶在网上火了！奶奶名叫江敏慈，是国内视频弹幕网站bilibili最高龄的up主（视频创作者）之一。网友们对这位年近九旬的up主表示出极大的欢迎与好奇，原因就在于她分享的精彩往事。
The Chinese video site Bilibili is widely considered a hub for juveniles, as most uploaders and audiences are from the post-2000 generation. However, Jiang Minci, 89, successfully built up her stardom on this youthful platform by amassing over 300,000 followers, winning waves of greetings and respect from users of her grandson's age.
"I heard that youngsters are spending their time on Bilibili and I want to be an uploader too," said Jiang, who named her account "Minci Bu Lao", or Minci doesn't age, but many internet users dubbed her one of "the oldest video uploaders on Bilibili".
With the aim of finishing her autobiography through videos, the grandma created her own account with the help of her grandson in April.
Sitting by a sewing machine, Jiang, with neat white hair, tells stories of her marriage, her family and wartime history before the founding of the People's Republic of China. Her voice is shaky and pace slow due to her age, but netizens, who might normally leave such an uploader harsh comments, instead greet the grandma with warm words and patience.
In one of her popular videos, Jiang recalls her legendary experience escaping a forced marriage into a wealthy family at an early age and leaving home to continue her studies. In Hengyang, Hunan province, she was later admitted to a railway school where male students outnumbered females by a ratio of 9-to-1. Netizens were amazed by Jiang's courage and determination at a time when women experienced severe discrimination in society.
Before shooting the videos, Jiang would spend time preparing notes, and discussing details with the family. She still relies on her grandson for shooting and editing, but she said, "I hope one day I can master the whole process like those youngsters".
"Whether they are married or not, women should be independent and have their own careers and lives," she told her female fans in one of her videos.
