The King of BJ Barbecue Home Plate Joins Our Burger Lovers Card
Okay, things are starting to get a little silly. What started as a burger fans' club for a few, our Beijing Burger Lovers Club is blossoming into a bonafide compendium of burger joint deals across Beijing. For this week's addition, we're proud to welcome the undisputed king of barbecued meats in Beijing: Home Plate BBQ.
And what Home Plate are offering to you, our loyal readers, is not just any deal, it's a whopping buy one, get one free on any burger that is of equal or lesser value when you buy a hulking Texas Tussle burger. That's more than enough burger to feed you and friend, a loved one, a dog (okay, maybe not a dog), or maybe even yourself, twice.
Home Plate's Courtyard 4 location has long been the center of a down-home American dining hall vibe
Originally opening their Xiaoyun Lu courtyard space in 2011, Home Plate built a steady following for its tastes-like-home Texas barbecue. Quickly outgrowing that space, or as we noted at the time, "the dining crowd always seems to be spilling over onto the patio," Home Plate made waves with their considerably larger rustic dining hall in 2013, providing ample space for customers to sit down, settle in, and see themselves slowly crumple into smokey and tender meat heaven.
In those initial years, Home Plate was unbeatable at what it set out to do, namely feeding the masses on high-quality, no-fuss grub, and that was no more evident than the fact that they took the Beijing Burger Cup crown home three times in a row between 2012 and 2014. Although they have been unable to re-attain those lofty heights, Home Plate remains a favorite for its lack of pretense, solid drinks menu, and a welcoming atmosphere, scoring a solid ninth in this year's Best Burger competition. Don't believe us? Drop by their Courtyard 4 location on any given weekday night and join the hordes of hungry Sanlitun patrons.
As of today, Home Plate joins other mouthwatering deals from top burger purveyors like The Great Outdoors, Arrow Factory, Q Mex, 3 Little Pigs, Common Burger, and Fatboy’s.

to our Burger Lovers Club Card is completely free during this trial
period. In order to take advantage of the initial deals as well as
receive further deals in the future, simply follow the steps below. (You
may in fact already have a card – you can check in WeChat by pressing
the "Me" tab in the bottom right and then going to Cards & Offers.)
1) Scan the QR code below:
2) Click "Save in Cards & Offers."
3) Navigate to "My Account" and enter your name, email, and phone number.
4)
Follow the official account when prompted and now you have access to
the above deals. Simply redeem the deal you want and show staff your
coupon via WeChat at the venue prior to ordering (FYI: Each can only be
used once and must be redeemed in the presence of the staff).

Buy one Texas Tussle burger and get any burger of equal price or less for free. (Available Sunday to Thursday, limited to 15 coupons per day – check availability with a staff before claiming your coupon)

Buy one burger get the second half price. (Available any time during opening hours, daily 5pm-1am)
Arrow Factory Brewing
Buy
a bacon cheeseburger and get a bottle of Guanxi Pale Ale for free.
(Available lunchtime Monday to Friday from 11.30am-2.30pm)
Q Mex
Buy any burger, get one for free. (Available
at Sanlitun and Shuangjing locations – limited to 15 per day, confirm
with the staff at the restaurant before claiming)
3 Little Pigs
Buy a bacon cheeseburger, get a gin and tonic for free.
Common Burger @ ARCADE by Hatchery
Buy one burger, get one free! (Available from 6-10pm)
Fatboy's The Burger Bar
Buy any burger, get the second burger half price. (One-time use per table – for a burger at equal or lower price)
