Join the Beijinger’s Fan Addicts Dining Club!
For centuries Beijing has been a melting pot of cultures, a fact that’s thankfully been greatly expanded in the modern era.
We here at the Beijinger are big fans of food from all over the world, and we got to thinking: how can we share this love of international cuisines with our readers?
The answer to this is our brand-new Fan Addicts Dining Club!
A play on the Chinese word 饭 fàn (meaning “rice” or “meal”) and the English “fanatic”, Fan Addicts is our latest foray into the world of food in Beijing – a dining club that will enable guests to travel the world with their taste buds, meeting at a new restaurant every month to try a different international cuisine each time.
Join us at Georgia's Feast for our first-ever meeting of the Fan Addicts Dinner Club
And we're inviting everyone to take part starting with our first event on Wednesday, Mar 16, where you can partake in the cuisine of Georgia with us at Dongzhimen's .
Georgian grill platters will send your taste buds on an adventure
But there's more in store than just food and drink.
We'll also feature games and competitions like Georgian booze tastings, a Georgian-themed quiz, and a traditional Georgian "Tamada" toasting competition, in which our audience will be challenged to make the best toast.
Taking place at the same time as the restaurant's 7th anniversary celebrations, our event will feature the best of Georgian cuisine: grill platters with lamb, beef and chicken; Georgian-style dumplings; Georgian-style chicken with garlic sauce, and of course the pride and joy of Georgia – the dish that many consider the progenitor to pizza – the lusciously cheesy khachapuri.
Khachapuri, known by some as Georgian pizza
We have a limited number of tables available, seating four and seating two.
Included with table is a bottle of Georgian wine (tables of two will get a glass each), as well as shots of chacha, a traditional Georgian liquor distilled from fruit.
You've had dumplings, but have you had Georgian dumplings?
Best of all, you'll get a deep discount from menu prices by joining up. The spread for the table of four would normally go for over RMB 1400, and is yours for a mere RMB 880 (or RMB 220 a person). Menu pricing for tables of two would normally be RMB 758 but are on sale for RMB 480 (or RMB 240 a person).
Hungry yet? Grab yourself a table – there's only 22 to be had!
