Ten Places to Get Your Wings Fix in the Capital
Can you get any more American than a big old plate of wings? Well for those who like nothing more than tucking into a plate of wings, Beijing has plenty of options. From traditional Buffalo wings with blue cheese dressing to wings with an Asian twist the capital really has it all.
The Local
Nowhere beats The Local for sheer variety of wings, with both fried and roasted wings being available as well as boneless wings (you won’t see them on the menu but can ask for them). The wings come in servings of six and for the Fried Wings you can then choose between Naked (RMB 60), Buffalo (RMB 68), Sticky Sesame (RMB 68) or Hot Honey (RMB 68).
Then for Roasted Wings they have Naked (RMB 60), Dirty Ranch (RMB 68), House BBQ (RMB 68) or Chili Lime Dry Rub (RMB 68). You can also add extra sauce like blue cheese or ranch for RMB 10. Go on Wings Wednesday and all wings are RMB 4 each, you need to order a minimum of ten

American barbecue spot Home Plate keeps things traditional with their chicken wings offering the choice between two classics: Buffalo Wings (RMB 68) or BBQ Wings (RMB 68). Both come served up with ranch sauce and sticks of celery and carrot.

Great Leap 45
American brewpub Great Leap has quite a few different chicken wings on their menu. For their signature GLB Wings (RMB 65) for eight wings and you can choose between Hanyuan, Buffalo, Honey Mustard or BBQ. They come served up with seasonal raw veggies and a choice between garlic aioli or blue cheese sauce.

Burger joint Side Street is a good shout for those of you who don’t like to deal with bones when eating chicken wings. They offer the Spineless Bird (RMB 55) and you can choose between Bourbon BBQ or Buffalo Sauce. They come accompanied with ranch sauce and carrot and celery sticks.

Mexican restaurant Q Mex offers up some wings with a spicy, Mexican twist. Their Chipotle Buffalo Wings (RMB 68) see Buffalo wings smothered in a smoky, spicy sauce accompanied by carrot and celery sticks and ranchero dip.
