New Burger and More at Jing-A’s Newest Hopson One Location
Proving themselves to be an unstoppable force, Jing-A recently opened up another new branch, making it their ninth branch in the capital. This newest branch is located in Hopson One, a mall right by Jiulongshan Subway station. Go down to the basement where you'll find a huge food court area with Jing-A located on the far east side at the back.
Along with the excitement of a new location for you to check out, they’ve also brought some new additions to the menu that are exclusive to their Hopson One branch. Now everyone knows that here at the Beijinger we love everything burger related, so we were super stoked to hear that Jing-A have created a new burger which is only available at their Hopson Branch.
Dubbed the Surf & Turf Burger (RMB 100), it sees a 200g Australian beef patty, shrimp, romaine lettuce and a slice of tomato served with Chef Ruo’s special burger sauce all sandwiched in between a brioche bun. As usual the burger comes served with house pickles and your choice of house salad and fries. Now, I don’t know about you but surf and turf in a burger sounds like a pretty epic idea to me and will definitely be giving it a try next time I’m there.
Along with the new burger they also have a new range of bar snacks, or as they’re titled in Chinese下酒菜 xià jiǔ cài which refers to food that goes well with alcohol. They have six dishes in total which are:
Cajun Spiced Shrimp and White Bait (RMB 40)
Thai Lemon Chicken (RMB 35)
Garlic Sausage, Pickles and Nuts (RMB 35)
Green Bamboo Shoots (RMB 30)
Edamame (RMB 30)
These will definitely make for some nice tasty bites to enjoy while sipping on one of Jing-A’s signature beers.
Moving beyond just the Hopson One, Jing-A has some new additions on the drinks menus at all their locations, which will be of interest to any non-drinkers out there. The drinks in question are two craft sodas, one is a Ginger Beer (RMB 35) and the other a Suanmeitang Soda (RMB 35).
Jing-A are also currently running a special holiday promotion for Golden Week. Called “Oktoberfest” it will run until Oct 9 and the deal is that if you buy a 1L stein – in true German fashion – of Über-Jing Lager (RMB 110) you’ll get the second for half price.
