Universal Beijing Reopens in Time for Halloween
After having been shut over the weekend due to Covid cases being found on the premises, Universal Studios Beijing has reopened today, Oct 31 – just in time for Halloween.
As we reported last week, the amusement park and venues associated with the park – including CityWalk, Universal Studios Beijing Grand Hotel, and NUO Resort Hotel – shut in order to follow epidemic control and prevention measures. The park has since released an official announcment on their website (see below) explaining reopening and Covid protocols moving forward.
Per the statement, the park says some attractions may be closed or have adjusted capacity and hours for the time being. In order to stay on top of changes, Universal recommends guests check their official app or official Alibaba and WeChat mini programs.
Everything seems done and dusted now, and it looks like the fun can continue as normal, with employees in Universal-related WeChat groups telling people they no longer have to request refunds or postpone their visit plans.
Plus, as today is Halloween, families can go and enjoy the park’s Halloween events. Check them out below!
