SECTION 3. The Sacred Place That Enhances Realization
正因为这么殊胜的地方很少有，所以我从能自主时起，选择自己老的地方、死的地方就是这里。
A supreme place such as Larung is so rare that I have chosen it for my old age and death, still being able to make an independent decision.
假如这里不能增上觉受证悟，不能成办弘法利生，我敢保证其他地方更难。
I guarantee that no place can enhance meditation experience or realization, or fulfill the activities of spreading the Dharma and benefiting sentient beings, better than Larung.
正是想到这一点，我才立下那样的誓愿。
Thinking so, I made the above aspiration.
你们来到这个圣地，也要知道这里的不同寻常。
Since you have resided in this sacred place, you should know its extraordinariness as well.
就像莲师所说：在普通地方修一年，不如在圣地修一天。
Just as Guru Rinpoché said, to practice in an ordinary place for one year is not as good as to practice in a sacred place for just one day.
在平常的山洞、树下修一年，比不上在邬金第二大佛莲花生大士加持过的地方修一天加持大。
To practice in an ordinary cave or under an ordinary tree for one year cannot realize the same blessing as practicing for just one day in a place blessed by the second Buddha, Orgyan Padmasambhava.
