China's Richest Man Warns Trump Thousands of US Jobs at Risk

Wanda boss and China's richest man Wang Jianlin had some strong words for Donald Trump recently, essentially warning the US President-elect that jobs were at risk if things went sour between America and China.
"I've invested over US$10 billion, employing over 20,000 people," Wang said, speaking at the China Entrepreneur Summit over the weekend. "If something goes wrong, these 20,000-plus people might be out of jobs."
"Other things aside, in the film and entertainment industry, you have to understand that English-language films are relying on the Chinese market for growth," he added.
Wang's Wanda Group now owns a number of enterprises in the US entertainment business, including AMC Theatres, Legendary Entertainment LLC, Carmike Cinemas and Dick Clark Productions, the group behind the Golden Globe Awards. He has also reportedly expressed interest in buying one of Hollywood's "Big Six" film studios.
Wang has been known for his fiery statements in the past. Around the time of the opening of Shanghai Disneyland — a competitor to his ambitious Wanda City theme parks — Wang infamously declared that "one tiger is no match for a pack of wolves."
