Art Camp: Discovery of Mayan Civilization

For 6 and plus year-old students will have the option to attend half-day Art Camp and half-day Fablab Camp at Shunyi Campus this week and enjoy a package price.
这周参加顺义校区 6岁以上的学生，可以参加半天艺术营和半天创客营的选择并享有优惠组合价。

Discovery of
Mayan Civilization
探索玛雅文明
Maya culture was a Mesoamerican civilization developed by the Maya peoples, and noted for its hieroglyphic script—the only known fully developed writing system of the pre-Columbian Americas—as well as for its art, architecture, mathematics, calendar, ecology and astronomical system.
玛雅文明是一个由玛雅民族创造的中美洲文明。因其象形文字手稿而著名，这是史前哥伦比亚美洲唯一已知的发展完善的文字系统。玛雅文化也因其艺术，建筑，数学，日历，生物和人类学而著名。
Their buildings and architecture were composed of pyramids temples, palaces, ballcourts, sacbeob (causeways), patios and plazas (courtyards and parks). To explore the Mayan culture, students are going to create a bas-relief imitating their art and walls (always indoors), learning molding technique.
他们的建筑由金字塔形庙宇、宫殿、球场、堤道、庭院和公园。学生们将通过创造墙壁，学习浮雕并临摹他们的艺术和墙壁（包括室内），学习制模技术等探索玛雅文化。
Glyptic Symbols 雕刻符号
The Mayan civilization created its own writing system using glyptic symbols developed it and used on buildings, stele, artifacts and books (also called codices). During this adventurous trip through ancient South American culture, the students will discover this special alphabet and design their own glifo, create a stamp, learning engraving techniques.
玛雅文明运用雕刻符号创造了自己的文字系统，并加以发展，运用到建筑，石碑，手工艺品和书籍（法典）上。在穿越古代南美洲文化之旅中，学生们将探索这种特殊的字母表设计他们自己的字符，创造一个印章，学习雕刻技巧。

Bas-Relief 浮雕
a form of sculpture that is carved from a flat two-dimensional plane creating a three-dimensional appearance. It was predominatly used as a decorative feature in the ancient architecture. 雕刻的一种方式，从一种二维的平面雕刻成一种3D的形象。主要用于古代建筑的装饰。
Engraving 雕刻品

The practice of incising a design onto a hard, usually flat surface by cutting grooves into it with a burin. The result may be a decorated object in itself, for printing images on paper as prints or illustrations; these images are also called "engravings". Engraving is one of the oldest and most important techniques in printmaking.

DIY 打造自己的电子乐器 🎸
Build your own digital musical instrument in combinition of music, electronics and creativity to invent your own very personal instrument. This workshop will open the doors of your creative ability and will give you new ideas of what can be made with simple electronics basis.
制作自己的电子音乐乐器，结合音乐原理，电子原理和创意来创作自己独特的乐器。这个工作坊将为学生打开创意的大门，引领学生使用基础的电子元件来实现自己的创意和迸发出的灵感！
