一些复试英语面试实用的答案和技巧（文末有福利）

每年在考研初试之后，总会有一个词来形容大家的状态：“几家欢喜几家愁”。但事实上，在初试和复试中间的这段不上不下的时间里，每个人几乎都是忧愁的。

纵使是对自己的初试成绩充满信心的同学，在面对毫无范围、毫无参考的复试面试，都会抓抓自己已经被初试折磨的比一般时候大上一圈的头。

当然，还有更恐怖的情况，在通览了往年学校通知和经验贴后，“惊讶地”发现自己的面试里有英文问答环节。

眉头一皱，发现逃不掉英语了

之所以在“惊讶”二字上打上双引号，是因为几乎全部985学校，甚至大部分211学校都对英文能力提出了较高的要求，考研面试加入英文问答环节已不稀奇了。但是对于一个没有提前准备过英文面试的人来说，这东西很难不让人更用力地挠挠头。

现在，我来拯救你的头发！考研英文复试并不是完全的无迹可寻，这里我将总结一些考研复试英文面试时常见的“小贴士”，它不一定能直接的作为考场答案提供给老师，但是至少能指引一种思路给你，让你不再那么头痛。

“寒暄题”

这类题目一般是老师的引入，类似陌生人在生活中相见中的寒暄一样。但对这一题的回答往往会给老师“第一印象”，在面试里“印象”的重要性，不必多谈。

况且如果你在这种寒暄中还能体现一点自己的学术修养，那更是为自己的面试增色不少。

01自我介绍

老生常谈的问题！但是往往还是有不少同学一开口就开始结巴了：“My……My name is……这个……”且不说老师如何反应，你自己估计先慌起来了。

所以，一般来说，自我介绍也要有一个明确的结构，但是这一结构也应当是灵活的，避免在紧张的时候想不起来某一部分而彻底卡壳。

当然，这一“灵活的结构”原则适用于其后的所有部分。

一般来说，一个好的自我介绍通常分为四个部分：

❶ 寒暄+基础信息：

在老师给你打过招呼之后，为了礼貌和良好的第一印象，你也应该先和老师寒暄几句：

Good morning/afternoon, repected professors(礼貌的问好）.
I’d like to thank you for giving me this opportunity.It's my pleasure to have this interview today.(表达对于此次面试的重视和感谢)

接下来，要告诉素未谋面的老师一些基础信息：你是谁，你从哪儿来，从哪里毕业或是在读。

I’m Li Ming from Beijing and currently pursuing my Bachelor of Journalism at Beijing Normal University.
My name is Li Ming, and my hometown is Beijing. I have done my 4 year’s bachelor degree in Journalism from Beijing Normal University recently.

❷ 个人能力

这是最为重要的部分之一，可以被简略的认为是你的“奖状墙”。当然你最好思考一下一个优秀的“研究生”需要的是何种能力，将这一部分变成自我秘密的大披露是不可取的。

大概包括但不限于以下部分：本科成绩、排名（如果你名列前茅），专业竞赛获奖，发表学术论文，奖励和荣誉（挑最重要的一两个说说就好），实习或工作经验以及英语能力证明（四六级、雅思托福等）

I am a top-ranking student with a good GPA of 3.7 and I will graduate from Beijing Normal University with distinction.
I rank top ten of my major with a good GPA of 3.7 now and I will graduate this June.
During my course I was opened up to different workshops on journalism practices. I have published columns on social strata, politics, and short stories.
I have been working as an intern at Xinhua News Agency since 2017.
I have worked with a radio station in my hometown as an internee for my final project. During the project I worked on communication strategy for the institution.
In junior year, I was awarded the National Scholarship for academic achievement.
I scored 550 on the College English Test-6.

❸ 研究方向

证明了自己是一个有潜力的“准研究生”之后，就需要说明自己未来要做什么了。这里特别要注意的是方向的明确，讲一两个就可以，要在之前对这一方向做一些了解。

So, both academic training and relevant work experience inspire me to pay more attention to Culture Studies.
Previous study and experience make me realize that Visual Anthropology is my keen interest.
I find myself specializing in the study of Intercultural Communication. All my research work and research studies are on this field.

❹ 结尾及感谢

在介绍完严肃的议题之后，最后总算可以提一点你的生活小兴趣了，然后总会在对于机会的难得和对老师的感谢上。

Besides, I have many interests in my spare time, like swimming and playing the piano.
Well, in my spare time, I like playing basketball and chess. Also, English is my favorite.
I am also ready for any type of research work in the master’s duration.

02近期阅读（后附书单）

这是老师最喜欢问题的，也是最普通的问题之一。就算是老师没有直接的询问你这个问题，如果你可以在别的问题的回答上使用上这么一段最近在看的书，或者曾经感兴趣的学术文章的回答，一定会为你的面试加上一笔加分项。

I just read The Structure and Function of Communication in society recently. It was an original article published in 1948 by Lasswell, and it was translated into Chinese in 2013. In this article, Lasswell proposed the "5W" theory for the first time, which made him become one of the pioneers of communication.

Harold Innis' ‘The Bias of Communication’ is the book I've been reading recently. This book makes me realize that our knowledge of other civilizations depends in large part on the character of the media used by ourselves and we must be continually alert to the implications of this bias and perhaps hope that consideration of the implications of other media to various civilizations may enable us to see more clearly the bias of our own.

当然，现在开始读一本书，尤其是英文的经典著作是来不及了，所以我在文末整理了一些最近的学术畅销书，来支持你面试时对这一问题的回答。

科研题

正如汉语面试一样，老师对你简历上表现出来的科研经历相当关注。就算很可惜的，简历上没有反映出什么科研经历，老师也很在意你的科研“能力”如何。

并且如果你可以完整的用英文表述出你自己做出的成果，那么间接地说明了你有能力在国际会议上宣讲自己的研究，这是每个老师都期待的能力。

01科研经历

如果没有什么意外的话，一旦你提到你曾经参加过一些科研项目，进行过学校的相关学术训练，或者是和某位老师合作过某项目，几乎所有的面试老师都会沿着这条线问下去。

回答的好的话，这将是证明你科研能力的最有力证明。所以一定要在这方面多做准备，回忆起项目的细节，将优势充分的发挥。

一般来说，一开始都要介绍你参加过的项目是何种项目，研究什么内容

I was involved in an SRT school project in 2019 and completed a research report of three new media centers in Beijing.
I participated in a project led by Professor Zhang last year, which mainly focused on the development of e-payment in rural areas.

然后，要说明的是你和这个项目之间的关系，即你在项目中负责了什么，完成了什么。

I was responsible for data collection and analysis in this project; moreover, I learned how to use SPSS in this process.
In this project, my main task was to organize the focus group interviews.

在这一部分最重要的是不能“编造”，老师们都是对这一套流程十分熟悉的人，编造会给老师留下很坏的印象的。

02论文成果

如果在本科期间，你就可以完成论文的发表，这将成为你在面试时的“杀手锏”，毕竟论文发表是现在老师最为看重的东西之一，那么如何用英文来简要的、明白的表达你的主要成果呢？

基本上这一简短的介绍由四部分组成，论文标题，核心问题，研究方法以及最后的结论。

I have published two research papers in recognized journals worldwide. Also, I submitted another one last week. One of the articles aimed to explore the characteristics and effects of messages about the Human Papillomavirus vaccine (HPV) on WeChat, with the theoretical underpinning of the Limited Capacity Model of Motivated Mediated Message Processing and the Health Belief Model. The research findings indicated that the potential effects of social media messages on individual cervical cancer prevention intentions and behaviors.

问答题

这是一种知识性的考察，是直接的对你掌握了多少知识的考察。它往往以问答的方式直接出现，就像是把考试时候的题目搬到了口头上——思考时间短并且是英文的。

但是也有好处，这样的题老师要求不会太高，提纲挈领的说出你的想法，就能得到老师的点头认可了。

01是什么

一个非常简单的理解，这类型的题就是一个面对面的“名词解释”，甚至比考试时候需要作答的名词解释更加的简单和简略，因此不要紧张，只要不犯错，老师一般不会苛求的。

A filter bubble is the intellectual isolation that can occur when websites make use of algorithms to selectively assume the information a user would want to see, and then give information to the user according to this assumption. Websites make these assumptions based on the information related to the user, such as former click behavior, browsing history, search history and location. For that reason, the websites are more likely to present only information that will abide by the user's past activity. A filter bubble, therefore, can cause users to get significantly less contact with contradicting viewpoints, causing the user to become intellectually isolated. Personalized search results from Google and personalized news stream from Facebook are two perfect examples of this phenomenon.
Information overload (infobesity, infoxication, information anxiety, information explosion) is the difficulty in understanding an issue and effectively making decisions when one has too much information about that issue and is generally associated with the excessive quantity of daily information. The term, Information overload, was first used in Bertram Gross' 1964 book, The Managing of Organizations, and was further popularized by Alvin Toffler in his bestselling 1970 book Future Shock.

02怎么样

这类似于考研初试中的简答题，按照简答题的思路来回答就没有问题。当然思考的时间肯定不如初试的时候多，所以只要有要点的勾勒，老师一般都会算你没有问题的。

一定要记得，面试的要诀并不在于你的回答有多么正式和完整，主要是不能出现常识性的错误。

想要在面试的英语知识性问答中体现出自己的“亮点”是相对困难的，稳定的保持“不出错”才是更好的策略。

How to respond to information overload in our daily life?
It is difficult to measure the effect, however, many methods have been suggested. Based on the definition of information overload, there are two general approaches to deal with it.

1)Reduce the amount of information receiving. It means everyone should be cautious about being exposed to information, and limit the information overload by unsubscribing the applications or accounts that frequently post useless things.

2)Enhance the ability to distinguish information. In an information society, the ability to choose and distinguishing information is crucial for everyone.

总之，在面试之中，最重要的是“Don’t panic”。只要能将平日准备的东西稳定的说出来——甚至有一点折扣的表达出来，就能获得面试的胜利。
