New Shanghai Disney Ad & Volunteers Recruitment
The new Shanghai Disney Resort commercial is upon us, and it's sure to make your inner kid giddy.
The 60-second spot, which dropped Wednesday, may just tug at your heartstrings with its cinematic shots of Shanghai interspersed with some of your favorite Disney characters. (We're not going to lie: it gave us goosebumps).
Just look at this screengrab of a father-son duo flying with Dumbo, while an epic view of the city looms beneath.
And what's not to love about these kids playing pirate along the Bund?
HOLD THE PHONE. Is that... Johnny Depp?
"Your Uber Horse Carriage is arriving."
We hope these guys got proper license plates for their TRON motorcycles from the local traffic authorities:
The father and son return, and this time they're far away from the Outer Ring Road firework ban.
D'awww:

Shanghai Disney Resort Now Recruiting Foreign Volunteers
Are you a Disney fanatic? Do you work or study in or around Shanghai? Would you like to work at Shanghai Disney Resort... without pay?
If so, follow the official WeChat accounts of Shanghai Disney Resort, which will be posting recruitment notices in the coming days.
According to Shanghai Daily, the Shanghai International Tourism and Resorts Zone will be seeking up to 700 volunteers for the remainder of the month. These volunteers will mostly be assisting foreign visitors to the park, providing directions and assisting physically-challenged tourists. Accepted applicants will be expected to undergo a training program in April.
Qiu Yichuan of Disney's partnering Shanghai Shendi Group specified that peak times would require 100 to 120 volunteers on duty, while 130 to 150 will be needed for "super peak" times.
This first wave of recruitees — most coming from ten Pudong universities — will work throughout the year, beginning when the resort opens on June 16. They’ll be deployed during holidays, vacations and weekends, when the bulk of tourists is expected to flock in.
Special consideration will also be given to volunteers skilled in certain key areas, such as medicine.
