翻译练习（11）：Big Questions
不好意思，今天才更新第11期，最近确实是很忙。不过后面几周应该会好一些，我会尽量多更新的，也希望大家继续坚持。
每期我将发布一个英文句子，或一小段话，作为练习材料。每期相对独立，不需要从第1期开始。请以文后留言的方式提交自己的译文。我将在下期提供参考译文及新一期的练习材料，也会定期进行语音讲解。

照例先来看上次翻译的情况：
On the one hand we have the mainstream neoclassical perspective, based on the assumption that equilibrium positions are strongly relevant to explanations of real world markets. On the other hand we have the perspective of those (including post-Keynesians) who are profoundly sceptical concerning both the meaningfulness and the real world relevance of the equilibrium models of mainstream theory. It turns out, Professor Garrison （加里森）showed us, that on a number of important issues the Austrians differ from both of the (divergent) positions taken by these approaches.
参考译文：
一方面，我们有主流的新古典主义观点，该观点建立在这样的假设之上，即均衡位置与解释真实市场密切相关。另一方面，我们也有其他一些人（包括后凯恩斯主义者）的观点，他们对主流理论均衡模型的意义和现实相关性深表怀疑。加里森教授向我们表明，在许多重要问题上都可以发现，奥地利学派不同于以上两种方法所采取的（分歧）立场。
简要讲解：
1. based on the assumption that……基于……假设，相当于一个非限定的定语从句修饰perspective，that后是一个同位语从句。
2. equilibrium positions 均衡位置； equilibrium models 均衡模型
3. It turns out, 原来，事实证明，可以发现
重点词汇：
1. profoundly 是profound(adj)的副词形式：profound的含义为：very great; felt or experienced very strongly 巨大的，深刻的，深远的。
2. divergent: adj. Divergent things are different from each other. 不同的; 有分歧的

The analysis and the results to date are such that our introductory student should walk away from an economics course with a sense of what the state of play is in the discipline of economics.
