众所周知，加拿大移民政策稳定，福利制度完善，一直是主流移民国家，也是最受国人青睐的移民目的国之一。加拿大移民种类多样，有很多大家熟知的移民项目，比如技术移民（包括无雇主担保技术移民，和雇主担保类技术移民），商业移民，家属团聚移民等。在加拿大众多的移民项目中，目前只有魁省投资移民、安省雇主担保和联邦自雇移民三个项目没有明确的雅思要求。今天，我们就详细讲解目前不需要雅思成绩的联邦自雇移民的具体要求。

一、什么是自雇移民？

The Self-Employed Persons Program，加拿大联邦自雇移民，不同于传统技术移民，是指那些在文化、艺术、体育等领域自己有能力雇佣自己的工作形式（也就是人们常说的“自由职业者”），以自雇形式移民加拿大。同时，申请人的自雇经验能为加拿大体育和文化做出特别贡献。

目前官网公布的移民审理时间只需21个月。联邦自雇移民的审理周期一直在缩短，从2017年平均审理周期50多个月缩短到现在21个月。移民申请政策一再宽松，申请人可以更快拿到枫叶卡。

二、申请条件

1. 在过去5年内，至少有2年的文化艺术活动或者体育运动方面的经验，经验符合以下其中一项条件：

文化艺术活动方面：

A：在文化活动方面有两个一年期的自雇经历，或者

B：参加过两个一年期的世界级文化艺术活动，或者

C：A和B的情况各1个

体育运动方面：

A：在体育运动方面有两个一年期的自雇经历，或者

B：参加过两个一年期的世界级体育比赛，或者

C：A和B的情况各1个

2. 能够在文化艺术、体育方面为加拿大的经济发展做出贡献

3. 有意愿并且有能力在加拿大成为从事文化艺术、体育方面的自雇人士

4. 在教育、工作经验、年龄、语言水平、适应性5个因素进行评分，评分至少达到35分

5. 身体健康，无犯罪记录

6. 有足够的资金支持自己和随行家庭成员在加拿大的生活费用（3万加币）

三、满足申请要求的NOC职业类别

Canadian Self-employed Immigration Guide and Complete Occupations List, Freelancers Obtain Permanent Resident Card in One Step!

As we all know, Canada's immigration policy is stable and its welfare system is perfect. It has been a mainstream immigration country and one of the most popular destinations for immigrants. There are many well-known immigration projects, such as skilled worker (including skilled worker without employer guarantees, and skilled worker with employer guarantees), businesspeople, family reunification, etc. Among these immigration programs in Canada, only the Quebec Investment Immigration Program (QIIP), Ontario Employer Guarantee and Federal Self-employed Persons Program don’t require IELTS. Today, we introduce the specific requirements for Federal Self-employed Persons Program which currently do not require an IELTS score.

1. What is Federal Self-employed Persons Program?
The Self-Employed Persons Program is different from traditional skilled worker program. It refers to those freelancers who are capable of hiring themselves in the fields of culture, art, sports, etc.. and immigrate to Canada on a self-employed basis. At the same time, applicants' self-employment experience can make a special contribution to Canadian sports and culture.

At present, the processing time showed on the official website is only 21 months. The immigration processing time has been shortening from an average of more than 50 months in 2017 to 21 months now. Immigration application policies have been repeatedly loosened, and applicants could obtain permanent resident card faster.

2. Self-employed person: Who can apply

To immigrate as a self-employed person, you must:
have relevant experience
be willing and able to be self-employed in Canada
meet the program’s selection criteria and

Relevant experience

Your experience is relevant if you have:

taken part in cultural activities or athletics at a world-class level or

been a self-employed person in cultural activities or athletics

At a minimum, your experience must be:

for cultural activities:

2 one-year periods being self-employed in cultural activities, or

2 one-year periods participating at a world-class level in cultural activities, or

a combination of a one-year period described in (a), and a one-year period described in (b)

for athletics:

2 one-year periods being self-employed in athletics, or

2 one-year periods participating at a world class level in athletics, or

a combination of a one-year period described in (a) above, and a one-year period described in (b) above

3 NOC Occupational List that Meets the Application Requirements

J&M lists the official occupational list applicable to self-employed person program in Canada. Applicants with work experience in the above list can be assessed freely to determine whether your occupations are consistent with officially recognized occupations.

4. Self-employed person: Selection criteria

To qualify as a self-employed immigrant, applicant must:

· meet the definition of a self-employed person

· get a minimum of 35 points after we grade you based on five selection criteria and point system

The maximum possible score is 100. The pass mark is currently 35 points.

Judging from the above selection criteria and eligible occupation list, self-employed person program havs less stringent application requirements, require lower funding, and have a shorter review cycle, so applying for this program can easily get a permanent resident card in one step.
