今日头条遭遇最严整改

12月29日,网信办就传播色情低俗信息、违规提供互联网新闻约谈今日头条,责令整改。对此,今日头条表示,依据有关部门的整改要求,今日头条App的部分频道,在2017年12月29日18:00至次日18:00之间,停止更新,进入维护状态。

这是头条史上第一次遭遇封禁,也是新闻类APP第一次遭到网信办全面封禁,可谓震撼至极。

《正视问题积极整改》一文表示:依据有关部门的整改要求,今日头条手机客户端“推荐”“热点”“社会”“图片”“问答”“财经”等6个频道自2017年12月29日18时至12月30日18时暂停更新24小时。

其实早在今年1月6日,北京市网信办就曾经约谈过一次今日头条,针对今日头条“问答”栏目多次登载“庸俗讨论话题”,责令整改。

今年4月,央视又曝光了今日头条客户端向用户推送“艳俗”直播平台:火山直播,以大量穿着暴露的女主播及低俗不堪的表演内容吸引用户。网信办对此再次责令今日头条进行整改。

这类事件在互联网行业可以说是屡见不鲜,不仅发生在今日头条,其它同类媒体行业或者社交、游戏、直播等行业可以说都或多或少存在这样的问题。相比以往口头上的“责令整改”,这一次网信办的措施可以说是非常严格的落实到了企业本身。

显而易见,政府部门已经对互联网内容乱象展开了强有力的治理,从年初全国扫黄打非办公室开展的“2017净网行动”到国家颁布的各类法规,如:《互联网信息内容管理行政执法程序规定》、《互联网跟帖评论服务管理规定》等,我们都可以看出政府对网络内容安全的重视在逐步加深,企业对平台的主管责任也越来越明确。

国内事记

一、微信小程序支持游戏

12月28日,微信放出了6.6.1版本的更新,而重点是微信小程序突然开放了小游戏,微信特意在启动页面重点推荐了招牌游戏「跳一跳」,游戏上手简单,一 39 37576 39 14987 0 0 2182 0 0:00:17 0:00:06 0:00:11 3470线就刷爆了朋友圈。

微信团队对于这样的小游戏有一个定义:小游戏是小程序的一个类目,它即点即玩,无需下载安装,体验轻便,你可以和微信内的好友一起玩,比如PK、围观等,享受小游戏带来的乐趣。

也就是说,微信小程序开放了小游戏这个板块之后,你就可以直接在微信上面就能玩到一大堆轻松休闲的小游戏了,无须下载安装。

本次更新其实不光增加了这一款小游戏,还更新了下拉搜索小程序功能,可见未来小程序会成为微信内容的一大新战场,将融合工具、电商、游戏娱乐、营销内容等多种场景,值得期待。

二、条码支付规范将限制支付宝微信补贴大战

@新京报【条码支付告别“无证驾驶”】昨天(12月27日)下午,央行官网发布了《中国人民银行关于印发的通知》,条码支付新规明确支付机构提供条码支付服务,必须持牌经营,此外还将对条码支付额度进行分级管理,新规自2018年4月1日起实施。该规范将对支付宝和微信带来重大影响。

专家认为,条码支付规范将限制支付宝微信补贴大战,利于银联。

对此微信与支付宝先后作出回应,均表示,认同央行规范,同时积极研发新技术以及探索新技术应用于条码支付领域的可行性。

三、《芳华》上映12天破9亿,破文艺片票房纪录

冯小刚电影《芳华》堪称今年年末的现象级大作。在强片迭出的贺岁档接连夺冠,上映12天累计票房已突破9亿,成为中国影史上票房最高的文艺片。连续两个周末展现逆跌神曲线,公映9天之后还能凭借口碑重回同档期日冠,票房走势一片大好。12月27日,片方发布“送战友”正片片段,这段文工团解散的情节也是影片中的一大“泪点”。

截至12月27日,《芳华》票房已经突破9亿,超过《私人订制》成为冯小刚电影票房的最好成绩。连续两个周末票房逆跌单日破亿,也让《芳华》成为年末最受瞩目的电影。上映12天影片上座率仍然稳坐同期第一,这股“芳华热”后劲十足。

自上映以来,《芳华》收获了上座率、场均人次、单日票房等多项第一,在全国各地引发了父母辈观影的热潮。影片一路高歌猛进打破国内文艺片的票房纪录,更改变了国内市场贺岁档,强类型片独大的新局面。观众对电影的选择越来越受影片本身品质和口碑影响,《芳华》正是一部品质过硬有口皆碑的电影。虽然以70年代文工团为背景,讲述一代人的青春。但许多年轻观众也产生共鸣。电影剧情和台词引发网友热议,“没有被善待的人,最容易识别善良,也最珍惜善良”成了网络间流传的金句。有网友说:“一个难忘的时代从记忆深处迎面走来,一代勇士熟悉的身影通过银幕再现眼前,给我们留下了深深的感叹。”

四、微信突然大规模封号

微信此次封号,主要针对使用第三方软件登录的用户,被封用户基本都使用了微信“分身”软件。有网友吐槽:“被封号了才知道微信是我的全部。”

微信官方回应封号。

微信中心给出的封号理由是:该微信账号因使用非官方微信客户端被限制登录,若后续仍继续使用将永久限制登录。

五、2018年B站将采取“付费先看”模式

B站发布公告宣布,应多家版权方要求,在2018年1月购买的29部动画中,将有8部作品奖采取“付费先看”政策(其中4部开播第一集免费观看)。

B站在公告中称,自2014年6月B站开始购买正版番剧以来,一直实行的是免费无广告观看模式,但是这两年来,付费观看已经成为行业主流,长期以来免费观看番剧的策略越来越不被行业所接受。多家版权方对B站明确提出要求,希望bilibili与行业其他平台保持一致,否则将不再与B站合作。最终B站决定采取对其中部分番剧实行“付费先看”的模式。

这种“付费观看”模式分为两种情况,第一种是大会员优先观看,明年1月1日B站开启“大会员半价购买”活动,用户可以用4.2~4.8折购买B站大会员,所有大会员可优先观看新一集番剧。对于不是大会员的用户,部分版权方同意单独购买单部番剧,价格10元。

对于非以上两种情况的普通用户,可能会无法观看该作品或者像其它视频网站模式一样,在新一集播出之后可以观看上一集。

六、数字货币全线溃败,比特币跌破13000美元,币值蒸发1/3

12月22日消息,在几天前冲至历史新高后,比特币价格迎来接连回调,其他各个虚拟货币几乎全线大跌。据卢森堡交易平台Bitstamp,当前比特币价格跌破13000美元,最新报价为12987美元,较该平台显示的历史最高价格跌逾6000美元,日内跌约17%。稍早,北京时间9:30左右该平台比特币价格跌破15000美元,11:05左右跌破14000美元。

分析师们的警告十分直白,2008年曾准确预测到美国楼市崩盘的Euro Pacific CEO Peter Schiff表示,比特币的巨大泡沫终将破灭,此时参与的人将遭遇巨大损失。俄罗斯媒体RT昨日援引他的话称:

多年前参与的投资者,甚至是今年初参与的人,都有机会套现赚大钱。但是在当前这种价格以及更高价格买入的人,基本上会亏掉所有。

当泡沫破灭时,这些货币的交易价值将跌到0或者很接近0。

一、My favorite Twitter account is a bot

Human Twitter accounts serve their purpose, but I prefer tweets from bots.

Research suggests there are now some 30 million tweeting bots — though this might be a low estimate. Some of these bots provide weather updates, make stock recommendations, or attempt to subvert democracy.

The human-dominated Twitterverse — the realm of inflamed passions, harsh critique, and unpleasant news — on the other hand, is not so interested in the uncanny. Twitter, with its now 280-character limit, is excellent at spreading news (though sometimes fake). Indeed, much of this news is important and truly vital to know (see the Roy Moore attack allegations), but after this deluge, it's inviting to take a refreshing breather from a non-sentient being that offers no sour or abhorrent ongoings.

Although Twitter doubled its 140 character allowance, NewFound Planet's creator Bergquist doesn't believe the bot's quirky poetry will benefit from more words.

Creating a bot that can produce conceptions of such wondrous, enigmatic worlds requires infusing the program with tons of imaginative nouns, verbs, and adjetives. Fortunately, building a language-based bot doesn't require too much tech savvy or programming knowledge, explained Bergquist.

But bots don't need to be endowed with sophisticated artificial learning mechanisms to produce creative material. NewFound Planets, which is often the reason I check Twitter, is really just human creativity churned out every hour by automated technology.

二、What were your best nine Instagram photos from 2017?

You might have noticed a new end-of-year trend on Instagram the past few days. If so, you can thank 2017bestnine.com, a website that lets you automatically collect and collage your most-liked photos of 2017.

Best Nine has been around for a while, so many of you may be familiar with the tool already. But for those of you who are new to that Best Nine game, here’s how it works.

First of all, your Instagram profile must be public for this to work, so if you have it set to private, quickly switch it to public to allow Best Nine to get in there and do its magic. Once your profile is public, head to 2017 Best Nine and input your Instagram ID.

After a few seconds (or minutes, depending on traffic to the site), the Best Nine service will offer you options for your final collaged photo that includes your best nine photos from 2017.

The ‘original version’ includes a caption that says “Thank you for your likes!” with the hashtag #2017bestnine at the top. You can also choose the photo only version or check out your best nine from 2016.

三、CNN is killing its Snapchat news show only four months after its debut

CNN is giving up on its Snapchat news show, which launch only four months ago. “The Update,” as the program was called, had been designed for Snapchat’s vertical video format, but didn’t feature video produced only for Snapchat, nor did it have dedicated anchors. Instead, the news featured on “The Update” was a curated selection of CNN’s reporting from its reporters and correspondents worldwide, which was then edited into a roughly 3-minute long format with around five stories.

According to The WSJ, which was first to report the show’s ending, the issue at hand was the show’s potential path to profitability – or rather, the lack thereof. The news network had been one of Snapchat’s launch partners for Discover – a deal that had included licensing fees for its content. But with those fees soon going away, the only avenue to monetization was ad sales, the report said. The implication here is that there wasn’t enough incoming ad revenue to continue to support the show’s further production.

CNN confirmed to TechCrunch it will stop producing the daily show in 2018, but said this doesn’t represent the end to its experiments with Snapchat, or its other plans to publish to Snapchat’s platform.

四、The Eye of History - When Images Take Positions

From 1938 to 1955, Bertolt Brecht created montages of images and text, filling his working journal (Arbeitsjournal) and his idiosyncratic atlas of images, War Primer, with war photographs clipped from magazines and adding his own epigrammatic commentary. In this book, Georges Didi-Huberman explores the interaction of politics and aesthetics in these creations, explaining how they became the means for Brecht, a wandering poet in exile, to “take a position” about the Nazi war in Europe. Illustrated with pages from the Arbeitsjournal and War Primer and contextual images including Raoul Hausmann’s poem-posters and Walter Benjamin’s drawings, The Eye of History offers a new view of important but little-known works by Brecht.

Didi-Huberman shows that Brecht took positions without taking sides; he used these montages to challenge the viewpoints of the press and propose other readings, to offer a stylistic and political response to the inescapable visibility of historical events enabled by the photographic medium. Brecht’s montages disrupt and scrutinize this visibility by juxtaposing representations of war found in magazines with his own epigrams—a “documentary lyricism” that dismounts and remounts modern history. The montages created meaningful disorder, exposing the truth by disorganizing—a process Didi-Huberman calls a “dialectic of the monteur.” These works are examples of “the eyes of history”—when seeing may simultaneously deepen and critique historical knowledge. The montages Didi-Huberman argues, are Brecht’s most Benjaminian works.
