Applying Deep Learning to Individual and Community Health Monitoring Data: A Survey

摘要节选:

深度学习技术在计算机视觉、图像处理方面的成功应用可以直接拓展至医学影像处理领域,如成像、图像分割、图像识别、病灶检出等方面,由此催生出大量关于医学影像处理的研究。然而,医疗健康研究不仅仅局限于医学影像处理,不少学者将深度学习应用于分析除医学影像外的其他医疗数据,取得了诸多可喜成果。华盛顿大学陈一昕教授团队集中讨论了深度学习在医疗健康各个领域(医学影像处理除外)中的应用。通过系统地回顾这些研究成果,帮助读者更好地从宏观层面把握该领域的研究现状。此外,本文作者还分享了其将深度学习应用于医疗健康领域的研究经验。本文将研究领域划分为7大类,分别为:EHR、ECG、EEG、社群医疗数据、可穿戴设备数据、药物分析及基因组学分析。

综述RECOMMEND

An Overview of Contour Detection Approaches

摘要:

轮廓(contour)是图像目标(imagery object)的典型特征,而轮廓检测是计算机视觉领域的重要研究方向。要解决一些实际性问题,如目标识别、场景理解等,轮廓检测算法(contour detection algorithms)是基础。本文主要讨论并综述了过去二十年间关于轮廓检测(contour detection)的各种方法。为了区分边缘检测,本文首先讨论了边缘(edge)、边界(boundary)和轮廓(contour)的三个概念的不同之处。而后详细梳理分析了传统轮廓提取方法(traditional contour extraction approaches),将其分为三类,并探讨了它们的不同及相互关系。此外,文章还介绍了基于DCNN的轮廓检测方法(DCNN-based methods)的最新理论进展。最后提出了几个具有发展潜力、值得进一步研究的方向。
