在本学期的课程当中，张新刚老师带领学生深入研读修昔底德的《伯罗奔尼撒战争史》与李维的《建城以来史》（卷一），希望从历史出发让学生溯源西方文明的政治、宗教、哲学根基。从今天起，博雅哥将就这门课展开系列推送，欢迎持续关注。

北京大学政府管理学院法学博士，北京大学西方古典学中心助理教授，研究领域为西方政治思想史和古希腊史，特别是古希腊政治哲学、现代早期政治哲学。开设课程《古希腊罗马政治思想史》、《古希腊罗马史》等。

课程简介

 

本课程每学期将带领学生阅读古希腊、罗马史家的经典史学著作各一部（或章节），通过具体的文本阅读来分析西方古代文明的特征和内在机理，使得学生通过重要的史学经典，从政治、历史、哲学、宗教等角度更为全面地理解和把握西方文明的发源。学生通过课程可掌握史学经典阅读和分析能力，学习阅读和使用二手文献的能力，并对古希腊罗马史学传统有初步的理解。

教学方式

本课程要求学生认真积极参与，课前必须阅读原著，尽可能阅读部分二手文献，积极参与课堂报告和讨论。课程成绩由三部分组成，课堂报告占20%，期中报告占40%，期末报告占40%。

所有作业和考试，切勿抄袭，一旦发现，本课总分为不合格。
