亲爱的同学们：

线上学习的第三周，已渐入佳境，你们过得充实吗？与你们一样，非常想念我们的校园，那一幅幅画面仿佛就在眼前。

昨天，我读了六年级几位同学在疫情之下，以生命，敬畏，公民，使命为关键词的诗篇，你们心中的纯净与爱真让人羡慕又激动。你们说到：希望是曙光，我要折一只白色的小船，船上满载着祝愿漂走，漂到白衣天使的心里。我还看到了你们在绘画，音乐，写作等各方面都有一些让人感动的作品，真是无比的欣慰。

海嘉希望你们在“海纳百川，嘉言懿行”的教育中，学会自信从容地去探索自己的兴趣天地，并用你们的智慧和涵养去奉献这个社会。鲁迅说：无穷的远方无数的人都和我有关。你们心中的爱与幸福也一定会源源不断的传递给这个世界。感谢你们。

今天的主题是爱与勇气，希望你们不仅仅心中有爱，还有勇气，坦荡豁达。推荐大家看一个著名的动画短篇《鹬》，讲述一只饥饿的小矶鹬在沙滩觅食的故事，自我克服的勇气总是与我们的成长相伴相随，做生命的强者。而作为父母，这个短篇让我们体会到底该如何去正确地爱我们的孩子。

Dear students,

You have accomplished the third week of online learning with much better results, each weeks  challenges a sign of your rigor.Did you spend the time with fulfillment? Same as all of you, I miss our campus very much. 

The moments we spent together are fresh memories that seem to be right in front of my eyes. Yesterday I read some poems that the six-grade students of our school wrote during the epidemic situation, and the keywords of these poems are life, reverence, citizen and mission. Reading them, I felt both admiration and excitement, because through the words I saw the pureness and love in your hearts. 

One of your wrote that :

Hope is a beam of light, 

I want to make a white paper boat.

That is floating with a full load of blessings, 

And it floats into the hearts of the angels in white. 

I also saw your touching works in the forms of art, music, writing and so on. They have made me so happy.

BIBA hopes that you can learn to explore a world of your own interests with confidence and gentleness, and dedicate your wisdom and goodness to the better of our society. Just like what Lu Xun, a prestigious Chinese writer, said, “This world that is boundless and the people that are countless are all related with me”, I’m sure you will always pass on the love and happiness within your to the others this world. Thank you.

Today’s topic is about love and courage. I hope you will have not only love, but also courage, to live fearlessly. I recommend you to watch a short animated film called Piper, which tells a story about a hungry little sandpiper trying to find food on the beach. The film shows us that we can never grow up without the courage to overcome ourselves. We need to stay strong. And as parents, this short animation will make us realize how to love our children in the right way.
