Dear Students and the entire BIBA Family,

Today's key words are love and gratitude. We don't want to talk about any moral lessons today. We just want to share a few people and their real stories around us.

The first story is about a science teacher from BIBA middle school, Mr. Capocy. He is from the United States, and is now teaching at his home in the Philippines. A few days ago, his home was hit by a strong typhoon, resulting in the interruption of electricity in their area. To make sure that his students' learning will not be affected, he bought a "pocket Wi Fi", but even with it, he needs to go to a higher place to have a signal. Please look at this picture. He is sitting on the roof of the thatched house of the water tower in his yard to teach his students.

He said that in order to ensure sufficient electricity, he had to carry a charger, a computer and many other electronic devices. There was one time when it rained, and he had to take his whole set of equipment and rush to another place - the chicken coop.

I want you to imagine this scene: a teacher, with all kinds of electronic devices in his hands, coming down from the roof to a house where their chickens live, trying to teach the students as if nothing was happening.

Another story is of Mrs. Peffers, a drama teacher in BIBA Middle School. She is currently staying in the home of a friend in New Zealand's South Island. Because of the remoteness and the lack of Internet, she has to drive to a nearby school to get online every day. Due to the time difference, if the school is closed, she can only stay in the car at the school gate where she will get internet and hold class in her car. Sometimes, when the network suddenly breaks down, she immediately drives her car to other friends' houses to borrow the network, thus spending every day in a rush. A few days ago, she excitedly told me that she had arrived at another residence where she could surf the Internet at home. She took a picture and said, "I'm so happy that I can sit down quietly to teach students, even if I only have one week here.".

We also have two American teachers, Mr. and Mrs. Kriss, who would sit in the library late every night for class. They come home at about 1:00 a.m. every day. In order not to affect their family's rest for a long time, they decided to fly to Hawaii, because the time difference there is not so big from the time in. They said, "Like other people, we just try our best to let the children have a good lesson. From the bottom of our hearts, this is our responsibility."

Mr. Cedeno, an English teacher, takes care of his sick father in the United States during the day and gives classes to his students at night. He said, "I do this because I think it is important to answer questions on the spot and let students attend classes on time even if it is tiring."

Mr. Brian has been in BIBA for many years. He also attends classes for his students while in the United States. He does this every night. He said, "I can stick to it until 3 or 4 a.m. every day just because the students need me."

BIBA has many touching stories from teachers around the world. What we are going through right now is not easy, but the teachers find strength in one thing: their love for their students. And only when there is love in your heart can you have a heart for your children. Thank you, dear teachers, for all the love that you give our students!

On top of all this, we also received the video from class 7I who recorded themselves to express their thanks to the teachers!

Truly, there is much love and gratitude around us!

Please enjoy the following video.
