亲爱的同学们，

自这场疫情爆发以来，我们看到了很多人和事。今天我想和大家说一说的是这些稚嫩的面孔。

浙江两岁小男孩病愈出院，一直照顾他的护士送他出门。刚打算挥手告别，小男孩突然向她鞠了一躬，她立马也还了个礼。

与病魔作斗争，却仍然全力以赴面对备考的高三学生的黄玉婷。

家里没有网络，为了跟上教学进度，征得村干部同意后，和父亲连续几晚都准时来村委大院上网课的14岁郭翠珠。

因为家里信号一直不稳，每天都到家后面的山上寻找流畅信号的西藏昌都女孩儿斯朗巴珍。

我们从“最暖鞠躬”中看到感谢，从克服万难也要读书，看到通往未来之路。

一百多年前，梁启超先生曾说，故今日之责任，不在他人，而全在我少年，少年智，则国智，少年富，则国富，少年强，则国强。

疫情期间海嘉LIF社团中的同学们思考自己能做些什么，初于为更多人提供帮助，他们开启公益课堂，为需要的人提高英语。在被称作“孩子”的年纪，他们用更多的大爱去让世界感受来自少年的力量。

所以，各位同学们，在家，也请你不要松懈。

最后，用钟南山院士在回信中对青少年的寄语结束今天的分享，

用知识缝制铠甲，

Dear Students,

Since the pandemic started, we have seen a lot of things happening and heard a lot of people’s stories. Today I want to share with you the faces of some very young lives.

A two-year-old boy was allowed to leave the hospital after recovering from his illness. A nurse that had been taking care of him sent him off from the hospital. When they were saying goodbyes to each other, the boy suddenly bowed to the nurse, and she bowed back to him too.

Huang Yuting, a girl who’s still fighting with illness, doesn’t stop doing her best to study for her university entrance exam.

After permission, Guo Cuizhu, a fourteen-year-old girl, comes to the village committee’s yard at a regular time in the evening to use the wifi to take her online classes. Because she doesn’t have wifi at home, this is the only way for her to catch up with school work.

Tibetan girl Silangbazhen goes to a hill behind her home every day to find a stable wifi connection for studying.

In the bow, we see gratitude, and in the girls story we see overcoming hardships in their lives to study, we see their paths to the future.

A hundred years ago, famous Chinese scholar, Liang Qichao, said, “Thus, the responsibility today is on the young people in our country. If the young people are intelligent, then our country is intelligent; if the young people are rich, then our country is rich; if the young people are strong, then our country is strong.”

During this pandemic, the members of the BIBA LIF student group are thinking about what they can do to help more people. They decide to give free online classes to help people who need to improve their English. At an age when they are called the “children”, they are making the world feel the power of the youth through their big hearts and love.

So dear students, make use of this time when you are at home.

At last, I want to quote academician Zhong Nanshan to end today’s recording. He said,

Make an armor with knowledge,

Shortly,

You will be working in all kinds of jobs in this armor,

Do not be afraid of hardships and always go forward courageously.
