海嘉国际双语学校

作为一所从ECC2-G12的WASC全认证学校，海嘉同时也是一所IB世界学校。多元融合的国际双语学校，海嘉有来自30多个国家的约350名教职工，其中外籍教师140多名。每一年，海嘉都会派送不同的教职工去到各个国家和地区参加各项研讨会和培训，参加课外培训的老师也把他们的丰富经验带回学校，并在他们的团队中分享。同时，海嘉拥有自己的海嘉教育研究院，以保证学术上的双语教育落在实处。

International Bilingual Education

Cultural assurance is a fundamental and long-lasting essence of a nation’s development. The well-paced and integrated Bilingual Program at BIBA capitalizes on inclusiveness, openness and the richness of traditional Chinese culture.

As an international bilingual school deeply rooted in China culture, BIBA aims to not only consolidate cultural identity of Chinese students, but also motivate foreign students to learn from Chinese language and arts, culture and heritage. Every BIBA student is to be developed as an independent thinker, a persevering learner, as well as a protagonist in global affairs.

BIBA has been attaching notable importance to international bilingual education since the very beginning of its schooldays. Our vision is to become a role model of bilingual education, to nurture world-embracing bilingual ambassadors who promote cross-cultural understanding, mutual respect and integration in a dynamic global community.

After enroling in BIBA, parents will also grow with their children.  BIBA has a unique series of Parent Professional Education Workshops jointly organized by the PTA and the school, coordinated by the Chief Director, to support parents to learn contemporary educational theories and methods.  On one hand this will support parents to use the most appropriate methods at home in line with the advanced methods used by teachers at school to best enhance their children's learning, on the other parents will also continuously learn and develop through such meanningful university-level learning experiences.

Multicultural Boarding Life

Sharyn Baddeley, Co-Head of School / MSHS Principal, has extensive experience managing overseas boarding schools, including the private IB Boarding school in Australia which was top of the League Table for six consecutive years. She is the founder of the BIBA Boarding system and facilities. BIBA Boarding life includes the following;

● A community of students with a family atmosphere that gives boarders the feeling of “a home away from home".

● A strict schedule urges students to improve time-keeping skills. Students learn to plan for themselves aiming to make better use of campus time.

● Opportunities to learn to deal with intimate personal relationships and with different cultures, adapting to an environment resembling overseas college life.

● Professional facilities consisting of security, nurses, a residential management team and 24 hour seamless support and custody.
