Main responsibilities and tasks

Planning of HR Marketing

• Supports the development of a solid knowledge of labour markets and recruitment channels by metier in China for our target professionals;

• Supports the formulation of internal procedures and guidelines on how to engage and deal with HR Marketing contacts and enquiries;

• Ensures adequate reporting on HR marketing planning and activities, as well as financial and administrative requirements;

Outreach to Stakeholders / Networking

• Supports the building up of a network of contacts with alumni and professional and career associations, universities and social media circles relevant to the ICRC’s HR marketing needs;

• Supports the development and execution of effective and innovative search techniques to generate a network / pool of candidates from the East Asia region; set up and maintain talent pool from the region;

• Supports the creation of a range of adapted communication material, including the digital marketing, to support the Working for the ICRC outreach in the East Asia region;

• Supports diverse events such as Working for ICRC simulation workshop, Job Fair, presentation of Working for ICRC…

NS and other sourcing partnerships

• Supports the building up of relations with the NS in the region on the issue of secondment of NS staff or hiring specialized staff through the NS for shorter missions;

• Supports the exploration of ways to partner with governmental or other entities in the region on HR formats

• Other duties if necessary

Requirements and skills 

• A completed tertiary degree in the Human Resources field or equivalent qualification

• Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills in Chinese and English

• Experience of working with communication and marketing tools, with a focus on social media

• Good Advanced IT skills – Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and others

• Chinese citizen

• Available for 40 hours per week if possible
